yeah, a factor they identified and got in the draft. that's their choice. another red flag for our era is we continually have made some real QB blunders. do you like JG or not? i thought he did well, but even i can say ok you move on Brady over him without thinking. do it. and a bunch of others. trey lance was the real what are we doing here moment. can't have that doozy in the middle of your window. well you can, but you get no rings. so it's about recognize the good, and recognize the bad also. the stuff we can control. the stuff we cannot control, is worthless in terms of debating, and it all evens out over time. unless you think the football gods have it in for us or something.

it was only the SHANANIGANS aqui along with Shannon Shae Shae Sharp that made Kyle the BEST YOUNG MIND IN FOOTBALL..

done nothing and he's already being considered GREAT... PATHETIC i tell you.. pathetic ..

This team needs a HC who would not mind not getting ALL the credit when the team wins.. Shanny ain't like that.. he wants ALL the credit... and that is also the reason why he said NO to the 2nd best QB in the history of the NFL..
Look at what the coaches have done in Denver, Detroit Minnesota, Green Bay, Cleveland. Players on those team play hard, are fun to watch and are heading in the opposite direction of the 49ers. Yet we have Kyle boys still talking about how great he is and how much of a disaster it will be to move on. limited thinking and fear drives these guys to sub mediocrity.

jed is on the hook. when you commit the dollars you want to see that through. otherwise you are just burning cash. so the only option to move on that makes sense would be trade. kyle has always said if someone offers, we listen
To be honest, I don't want Shanahan gone. I want him to win a Superbowl with the 49ers. I am less fond of John Lynch, however I don't think he is going anywhere before the end of next season. I think the 49ers can retool for next year, but will take a hell of a draft to it. And based on what we gave seen from the GM in the past, I am not too confident. Also, Shanahan also needs to part ways with the ST and Defensive coaches.

This is only true if you isolate this season. We've been more successful than each of these teams over Kyle's tenure broadly. By a large margin in every case, with some exception for GB.

What your argument effectively boils down to at this point is whether or not a coaching staff and team should be allowed to backslide for a season. Any NFL fan with a brain would recognize it's extremely rare to consistently be on the rise, and we're no exception.

oh another lame take lol

lets ignore that any team you want to bring up is not equal in health nor can it ever be equal as the amount of injuries has just been crazy for us.

in no way you can say the players are not playing hard.. just based on results

Backslide with a roster built for winning is much different than a backslide for a team not expected to go to the superbowl. It's not just about the wins and losses it's about how the team is losing and looking. Disregard injuries for a second. This team is underperforming, undisciplined and just plain hard to watch. He is directing a s**t show that he created. It's just bad all the way around.
