this is one of the worst aspects of the move. ppl conflate idiocy with having stones or being 'bold'. maybe rolling mr irrelevant out there takes more guts than drafting lance. i don't think drafting lance was bold. i think it was stupid, borne out of desperation. they had no clue how to rightly address the QB position. the reality is they could have signed someone like Darnold for nothing and he'd be 1000x better than Lance and keep all your ones, maybe win a ring. that would have been bold. they took the easy way out, just throw draft picks at the problem and pray. they demonstrate not much understanding of the QB spot over all these years, and kinda fell backwards into brock.

this is just your silly attempt to take an honest huge red flag, and turn it into a great moment from shanny. not buying it.

You can't take that risk with that kind of player especially with the position of our team. It was easy to see that you wouldn't be able to win now and develop a QB with that level of inexperience simultaneously. It was plainly reckless.

Easy to say when the story of Lance has been written. But I'm sure you were against drafting him from the jump.

Assuming they had their Alex Smith in Jimmy G and Lance being their Mahomes was the vision. Clearly a miss. Still would rather have them swinging for the fences. Some people like playing small ball it's safer I get it

i was. i didn't want to move up. i don't like giving up 3 years of ones. i understand the NFL draft is a crapshoot, and our team was pretty well setup for a competent QB to come in and play well. once we did move up, i wanted fields. he is better than lance and mac. there were like 15 red flags on lance. he didn't really play, he was lightly recruited, he didn't throw much at all, every game was a blowout so he wasn't really tested, he lost a year due to covid, and on it goes.

We don't want to trade him though, lol. I swear some of you guys don't think through the things you say.

People want to move off a guy but also think he's worth two years of an organization's top draft picks, lol.

We have this asset that the league views as tremendously valuable. Let'd get rid of him!

We're talking about a Florrio post. My god……….

hey Smokey, what would you like to see happen? Do you want to see Kyle play out his extension? Are you ok with another 6 years of Kyle just keeping us competitive?

we're not making the playoffs this year. Are we allowed to talk about getting rid of the football genius after he misses the playoffs twice?

OMG, I would pay to see Kyle in a major market with a real press corp!!!!! 😂😂
Caleb Williams as Kyle's QB?!?!?😂😂😂😂
Caleb wouldn't last a season under Kyle.

That city, its fans and their press would eat Kyle alive!!!!

I would personally drive Kyle to Chicago in my 2011 Corolla if that means we can finally get rid of him.

Why are you quoting Florio or as far as that goes, any content creator? He has one purpose in mind when he posts stuff like that.

Could have been worse, they could have traded three first round picks for Groper Cleveland. Then they wouldn't just have lost the picks, they'd have been stuck with a serial sex pest that they couldn't afford to cut.
How about Trade Shanny to Chicago for first and hire Robert Saleh????

If we could hire an OC from the Shanny tree to keep the offense similar it could work out.

My main issue with Shanny is game management and stubbornness not the actual system he runs.

Cause it's F'ing Fun!

it's better than rehashing the same S over and over and over again.

look how many pages we're getting out of this.

plus it's fun to see the Shanna-fans heads exploding.
