They corrected course, but we are still paying for all the draft picks Kyle burned.

Would you rather have a coach/front office that doesn't take that kinda all in risk? It sucks it didn't work out and that happens a lot in the draft with QBs especially. And if we are ever down bad with a Jimmy G type QB again I hope we make the move all over again.

hey Smokey, what would you like to see happen? Do you want to see Kyle play out his extension? Are you ok with another 6 years of Kyle just keeping us competitive?

we're not making the playoffs this year. Are we allowed to talk about getting rid of the football genius after he misses the playoffs twice?

I would like to see Kyle stick around and see if we can rebound from this season. He's already proven he's a capable asset in terms of keeping a team competitive for Super Bowls and rebuilding a roster quickly. If over the next couple of seasons signs indicate otherwise, or he loses the locker room in the meantime, than I would be willing to look elsewhere.

Everybody wants to pretend we don't have these aging veterans with no willingness to play rookies behind them.

The trey Lance lost picks suck. All the previous drafts behind last year's have been terrible too.

Saddle up for us sucking. Shanahans only making it worse at this point.

The team will be worse next year talent wise than this year. Look what's happened this year with just a minor drop in talent.

He's had 8 years. He's the longest tenured non super bowl winning head coach.

Pick your time. We can start rebuilding now and trade Kyle for picks or you can wait 3 years from now until he's worth nothing and blown his reputation entirely with multiple 5-7 win seasons in a row... Then you get nothing.

A la see Jimmy and trey Lance trades. Cut your losses while he's worth something.

I think this is the most shortsighted post of the day.

Look at what the coaches have done in Denver, Detroit Minnesota, Green Bay, Cleveland. Players on those team play hard, are fun to watch and are heading in the opposite direction of the 49ers.
