fans that cry about Kyle lack perspective of how the rest of the league is. They clearly don't talk to other fan bases.

The goal is to win a SB every yr, for about 70% of fan bases that's not even close to a reality yr after yr.

This is gonna be an ongoing argument forever.
You are part of a group that's perfectly fine being competitive, even if they never win a Super Bowl. Good on you bro.👍🏼
Then there's a group that's not ok with constantly coming in second. I'm in Jerry rices and Ronnie Lotts. camp. They were pissed when the 9ers lost their 1st Super Bowl. That you want to lump the 49ers in with the rest of the league kind of sums up who most of our fanbase has become. The 49ers are one of the Legacy teams along with Dallas, packers, Steelers, bears and so on. We are suppose to have higher standards and so many fans want to lower those standards. Screw that. This team is suppose to win super bowls when we have the best talent in the league.

Sounds like you are perfectly fine lowering ourselves to the rest of the leagues level.

What in the soft as fk s**t is this "I rather not go to the playoffs because we might lose the SB"

TBPH it's a better take than "I'd rather lose the Super Bowl every year because at least I made it"….
is it better?

who in the heck said that ?

Pretty much implied by Shanahan's defenders. Comments like "at least we made the Super Bowl" and "at least we make the playoffs" without added context that we lose out at the end is disingenuous, at best. It's a ridiculous defense mechanism to support 8 years worth of failure. After all, it is failure right ? A five time Super Bowl championship team losing 2 Super Bowls in a five year span ? You wouldn't disagree now would you ?

If making it to the superbowl wasn't better than our current situation you wouldn't be b***hing so much more now than you were the. 🤷‍♂?🤷‍♂?

oh ok.. now i'm getting that you really don't know how to comprehend, because not one person has said, implied, thought, dreamed, etc that crap here on the zone. And for you to run with your own failed thoughts is some simple jack s**t right there. lol

The only fact you have said is that you want to lose and not accomplish anything due to being scared. go to church if you're scared
This losing season will help us in the long term. Let's hope for a home run first round pick and another good draft to get some good rookie contracts. To rebuild and start the Brock Purdy era.

I thought you were done with this team?
I'm done with this team.

But teams are organic, they rise and fall and hopefully rise again.

How long that takes is the debate? Is this group able to be picked up by some new recruits?

We need to have a special draft though!?!?

We have wasted a few.

It's frustrating seeing the potential for being a contending team and throwing it all away.

The Niners have gone from throwing away games in 4th quarters to just totally sucking. Seeing them have opportunities to hold their own and make some dumbass mistakes that cost yards that can change games.

I feel for all of us longtime fans. s**ts gotta hurt.

Also, I'll have an iced vanilla latte please.

I'm crappy with geography. Isn't this fairly close to Martha's Vineyard or wherever his permanent home is? Be less than an hour by private jet?
He doesn't seem the type to end up on the West Coast. This maybe his best shot without taking one of the horrible NY jobs where his every move is documented. Interesting move if yes. And probably given full power no restrictions from draft to line coach and everything in-between.

He/she would find some way to b***h about it. Can't have a football conversation that's for sure. Next best thing is b***h and pretend you know what you're talking about.

I mean Martha's Vineyard is in Massachusetts. I wouldn't call that close at all.

I think he realizes he's not gonna get another shot in the NFL at his age. At least not at a place he wants that gives a 72 yr old HC complete control.

FWIW if the NYG job came open he would be all over that…it well know how much he loves the giants and ownership. He won some rings there as DC.

Duh

My best hope at this point is we are able to rest our key guys down the stretch, have a great draft and then bounce back next year. This team looks gassed to me, physically and mentally.

Hope so bro. I'm disappointed with KS but don't agree he should be fired.
Those that want to keep Kyle around are just prolonging the pain and postponing the inevitable. Kyle will leave SF without a ring.

He is not the guy. Maybe 2-3 years ago he could have pulled it off, but he choked, embarrassingly, and the league has caught up now, he's been exposed. Other teams don't fear his play calling anymore.
