Oh, and has there Ever been a coach with a worse record protecting or overcoourming a lead.

You lose the locker room when you don't own your own mistakes, like that OT in the SB. You lose the locker room when you show a lack of character by blaming other people, like your phantom "analytics department" that not one player has ever heard of for that decision. You lose your locker room when you put the blame on the players, when you haven't properly prepared them or your coaching staff to win.

When you lose your locker room, they get mentally lazy and make mistakes. When you lose your locker room, they don't play hard. When you lose your locker room, they don't want to fight for you. When you lose your locker room, they don't bear down mentally. When you blame the players, they blame you.

You don't have to lose the entire locker room to cost you games.

When you lose games, you feel your job is in jeapordy. When you feel your job is in jeapordy when players are making mistakes, you lose your cool, cease to care about setting a disciplined example in front of your team, and throw your tablet into the ground. When you throw your tablet into the ground, the owner see's how you are representing him. He has never thrown his tablet into the ground.

When you throw your tablet into the ground, thinks you've lost your cool and the team.

When the ownership sees you've lost your team, they have no choice but to replace you.

You have anything to say about the game? He's now getting beat by his understudies who have worse teams.

The softer, nicer Gore….I like it
Dude for being an offensive mastermind, is clueless when he enters the redzone.

Yet he wasn't for the 7 years prior. So is this the new reality or a single year anomaly?

We'll see what he does to adjust this next offseason. The last couple years, including this pre-season, the offense was built to go through CMC and Deebo. When you spend all offseason planning for that and it never comes to fruition in the season it'll have an effect. So this offseason he'll need to do a better job making a more well rounded plan less dependent on specific playmaker. We've seen him do that before in earlier seasons, so we'll see.

I don't want to run the front office. I just want Lynch to talk to Jed, tell him he's already publically called this team's performance unacceptable, the HC is leaving too many functions on the table, we're going to be out early, we could talk to people early, there's a lot of talent out there, he knows it would be a sure thing to pump some new ideas and new enthusiasm into this team, he thinks we're an attractive destination, and what would his thought be towards giving him a chance to talk to and interview some people.

I know most of you think this is premature, but if we keep this up, by the end of the season, it's not.

I think it's naive to think they don't have these conversations throughout the season.

These talks have been ongoing for weeks already.

I agree. i don't think Lynch would have gone public calling the team's performance "unacceptable" if he hadn't first cleared it with Jed, and if they weren't willing to do something about it.

Thats the problem - he has zero clue how to adjust to personnel. He needs all pros at every position when you have mcvay and oconnell turning scrubs into stars.

this was an exhibition game. The season was over, a lost season, lots of injuries. etc etc. You can't make any conclusions about this team based on this game. It was a failure of a year, but they were just in the SB, and there is reason to believe that they can contend again next season.
