Dude for being an offensive mastermind, is clueless when he enters the redzone.

Yet he wasn't for the 7 years prior. So is this the new reality or a single year anomaly?

We'll see what he does to adjust this next offseason. The last couple years, including this pre-season, the offense was built to go through CMC and Deebo. When you spend all offseason planning for that and it never comes to fruition in the season it'll have an effect. So this offseason he'll need to do a better job making a more well rounded plan less dependent on specific playmaker. We've seen him do that before in earlier seasons, so we'll see.

Thats the problem - he has zero clue how to adjust to personnel. He needs all pros at every position when you have mcvay and oconnell turning scrubs into stars.

that and his half time adjustments are and non existent.

There is a reason Aaron Rodgers has just one Super bowl (they should of lost to the Bears in the NFC title game that year) and his best team in GB got beat in the divisional round by 17 points.

Yeah he had a lot of atrocious defenses. Same reason why Brees only won one too.

The Chiefs defense is so good right now that Mahomes can kind of just f**k around for much of the game and doesn't actually have to carry the team. Neither Brees nor Rodgers ever had a defense that was consistently so good.

Kyle isn't a good COACH but he is a GREAT play caller. You can win a Super bowl with him when he has the exact right pieces. When he doesn't its going to look terrible.

You can't be a bad coach and go to multiple SBs and NFCCs.

No coach is winning it all when they don't have the pieces in place.

Uh... Tom Brady literally asked if he can come here and Shanalynch said no we are good with Jimmy g.

Move on.

At that point everyone thought Brady was done…even Bill….Jimmy was just coming off a SB run.

love how people have selective memory on what really happened.

OH and they tried to get Brady. Twice. He tried to get Rogers and Stafford as well.

Rodgers was the most talented of them all. Also stubborn in his ways to a fault. Very arrogant - has this better than thou aura when dealing with media. Has a hard time taking accountability. Not a great leader. Despite being considered the best by many during his time, he always came up short in a weak conference

Kyle can pull off a championship on talent like Rodgers did, but i just don't see that mentality to be a consistent champion

Too much "Well if he ran down the red line" or "it was a good play, ref just missed illegal contact twice" type of excuses. That's not the mentality you want from your leaders, and I think it's part of all the falling short for both of these great talents

Totally agree with this.

But with that said, I don't think his play calling was good at all last night. I didn't like the fact that he couldn't get any running game going with Patrick Taylor. Although Deebo was somewhat effective running the ball, why not mix in another RB like Abanikanda or Vaughn, very frustrating!!!

He did….also Stafford's wife made it very clear that they wanted to live in LA. Toss in the new GM of the lions was the Rams assistant GM and they got Goff as part of the deal.

s**t wasn't gonna happen. But you can pretend otherwise

Why is our offense so penalized, especially in the most crucial times of the game? Because arrogant Kyle is forcing players that don't have the talent to run his offense the way he calls it. Then they overreach trying to accomplish it. That type of pressure manifests itself with false starts trying to get that little extra head start, holding penalties because they physically can't do what he's asking, & illegal formations because they are overthinking everything. The players are so stressed by the play calling, especially with the pressure of the game on the line, that they can't perform. That is the sign of a bad coach that cannot adjust his play calls to the talent he has on hand. We ALL see it yet don't want to admit it because we don't want to go through yet ANOTHER rebuild. So we continue lying to ourselves about Kyle's ability to win SB #6.

In 2011 GB went 15-1 with the offense scoring 40 or more points 4x in there last 9 games and 30 or more points in 7 of the last 9. Rodgers threw 45 TDs and 6 INT on the year & was named NFL MVP. In the divisional round against the #27 defense Rodgers threw for 264 yards 2 TD (he didn't throw TD #2 till the score was 30-13) 1 INT and was sacked 4x. He has a passer rating of 83.7 with 1,381 yards, 9 touchdowns and 8 interceptions in 5 games in NFC championships in his career going 1-5.

Mike McCarthy coached in 4 NFC title games, won a Super bowl and won 12 games three straight years in Dallas. I think a lot would say he isn't a good coach or is overrated. You can be a great offensive coach and win a lot of games without being a good head coach.

You actually think it was mostly McCarthy that won on those teams. Before McCarthy was hired by those teams, he didn't have to build his rosters, only repair them. The most important piece to his offense was already on the team in Aaron Rodgers and Dak Prescott, so I wouldn't give McCarthy too much credit.

Of course you wouldn't cause that would destroy your narrative that Shanny is the only HC who can get to NFCCG's or SB's (don't forget that McCarthy actually won it).

Oh sorry Shanahan couldn't get hired by a team with a HOF QB and Pro Bowl QB already on the roster.

Please no one likes you.
