They lost bc Kyle s**t the bed. That's not just Niner talk. Go watch any football analysis they always bring up Shanahan floundering on offense in that game when all he had to do was run out the clock. He was a big part of that epic collapse and he did it again vs KC a few years later…

I don't give a crap what other fans and media types who cater to those fans think. They will consistently look to the low hanging fruit without any serious analysis. They say inane s**t like 'I LIVE in NY, so I can accurately speak for all Bills fans', lol.

Kyle's offense made mistakes and couldn't put the game away. Their defense couldn't get a single stop and gave up multiple TDs and two point conversions in less than a half. It was a team wide collapse.

*I mean FFS you can't even analyze a simple play like Brock's interception from yesterday.*

Thank you. Pretty much sums up all the Kyle fans in a nutshell. Don't give a s**t what other nfl pundits, gurus, coaches, etc say because I KNOW Kyle is right.

You purposely misrepresented his position

And you are the pot calling the kettle black here.

You will turn a blind eye to any pundit, guru, coach whose opinions don't align with yours with regard to Kyle Shanahan.

ah the cherry pickers.. i seen the other side of this one and the record is like 70-10
It is a cherry picked stat/split, I agree...but "the other side of this one" is the same cherry picked thing and it's silly to use that to disprove the cherry pickiness of the stat itself.

If you look at Dom capers, his "other side" record is like 50-23. And yet he only had one winning season. So I dunno what this proves besides that teams that are losing by slightly over a td with xp in the fourth quarter typically lose and teams on the other side typically win.

Only in the last 5-6 years with Mahomes' 2019 playoff run do people expect an 8+ point 4th quarter lead to be commonly overcome (even though two of those three games were comebacks earlier than the 4th quarter). Thing is, it rarely is for anybody. I just looked up Bill Walsh's record over 10 seasons when down 8+ in the 4th quarter. It was 2-31 in the regular season and 0-5 in the playoffs. Teams usually lose when down 8+ in the 4th. Who knew?
Exactly, another L for the haters

I laughed hard earlier when buddy didn't know QBs can throw with anticipation and sometimes they throw to where the receiver will be.

I'm saying he had the best most versatile running back in the league in CMC, Aiyuk, Kittle, Deebo, Jennings all on offense for the Super Bowl.. and he couldn't find a way to draw up the plays of his life in the most important game of his life to just get us some first downs to finish off the game... to not have some type of exciting stressful finish. You would think a genius with ALL THOSE WEAPONS would be able to do that.

But with those weapons we only scored 10pts through by the 4th QTR.. going scoreless in the 1st and 3rd qtrs.

I mean I would understand if that was a one off weird situation where you could give him the benefit of the doubt... but he has done that on numerous scenarios before that Super Bowl loss.

You believe this be true? The league and media both tout Kyle more than the niners fans do

On this subject do we think the 3 plays in overtime at the goaline were the best shanahan could have picked?

In my opinion the best players on the team at the time were CMC, Brock, and kittle.

CMC was already choking that game. I would have liked to see some balls like harbaugh and Carole and actually put some faith in Brock and give him 3 shots at it. We honestly wasted downs.

It was such a weak move in my opinion and the type of choking move. Either hand it to CMC 3 times or give Brock 3 option run pass shots at it to win the game...

Now you're just talking out the ass and need for attention

KC defense wasn't just some turnstile defense and it's not like we're down the entire game.

you also forget that we had no Kittle, Deebo, Feliciano (this one hurt us the most), Greenlaw for most of the second half.

Turnovers is what cost us

That's what you take out of that? Does the truth hurt you THAT much?

Out of 75 snaps...

Kittle had 63 snaps.. 84%...second only to Aiyuk 67 snaps (89%)... Deebo 72% and yes Deebo & Kittle played in the 4th QTR.

Eitherway Kyle still had CMC, Aiyuk, Jennings, Juice to be creative just to get us 10 yards... to get us some 1st downs to run the clock. I'm not even asking for a bunch of points.. just put the f**king game away!

Also... Jordan Mason... 0..... f**kING ZERO SNAPS the whole game

Actually this was all pointed out by Bill Belichick that Kyle called the correct plays in 3-4 big 3rd downs and goal line plays. Kyle called the correct play that beat the defense coverage, the fault was they couldn't get the protection right. So I don't get this Kyle couldn't find a way to draw a play for a first down or something to finish off the game. Kyle called the correct play and beat the defense they had used, it was the protection as stated by Belichick and I side with Bill on this. So if you want to fault Kyle for something then blame him for not having the correct protection for their blitzes and I would agree.

Can someone remind us what our win record was from the Tomsula era to before Kyle? I am pretty sure it sucked.
