So he's not? Personally I always thought his offensive innovation was his best trait but you're right he's not an an offensive genius or mastermind. At least anymore(I think he used to be). Teams have adjusted. Good point!!! Fantastic point actually.

Several teams, including the Lions are running the same offense now. Teams have adjusted because they see it often around the league. The biggest issue with the 49ers ths season isn't the play calling. It's the lack of execution due in part yo so many backups being used. These guys are bckups for a reason. They aren't as good as the starters. No RB is as good as a heathy CMC. Aiyuk is their best receiver. Williams is still their best O lineman.

Kyle has run out of time to get his qb figured out. 8 years later, with all these new young stud qb's and…… Carroll going to the Bears. He'll have Russel Wilson on steroids.

Pete Carroll isn't an offensive guy. He'll need to bring a good QB coach in. Kyle has had two different QBs lead the team to a SB. Neither was a high draft pick.

Pete Carroll is a leader of men. I can't say the same for Kyle

I will take a leader over a stubborn self proclaimed offensive guru everyday and twice on Sunday.
if CMC is injured again next season and key o-line is injured we are in for another losing season and closer to Kyle will be fired.

and brock purdy will look like crap again

and aiyuk is our only real receiver. jennings is doing what that blocker kittle should be doing

Some would say that CMC saved Kyle's job the last 3 seasons

You left out the part that they were in the playoffs those 4 winning seasons including 3 NFC title games and 2 SBs. You also didn't mention that his first 2 years were spent rebuilding a terrible team or that the other 2 losing seasons were filled with major injuries.

Selective stats to fit the narative.

And there it is…. I guess it all depends on your perspective. I think he is washed. Done. Catch thinks all will be well. Only time will tell who is right and who is wrong. I certainly hope catch is right and I am wrong.

And what 1 HC, in this list, hasn't had an 'elite' QB ?
