Enjoy irrelevance, Shannafans.

Hopefully that means you won't be back

Au contraire

I agree, we have to pony up to Goodell, if he doesn't allow it then it won't ever happen.

"If"?

We need to just start preparing right now to assume that he's going to be injured. Kyle better get it through his mindset that he needs more than one RB and also realize that he can't kill that RB by using him on almost every play.

We need more than one running back? That's a point. Christian McCaffrey, Jordan Mason, Elijah Mitchell, Isaac Guerendo, and possibly Israel Abanikanda. Hmm, last time I checked 5 running backs is more than one running back. If they ALL get injured, though, the restrictions on roster size kind of have a negative impact. Of course some posters here will blame Shanahan and some will blame Purdy regardless.

You don't understand how percentages work do you? Lol, might want to educate yourself a bit on how Kyle has over used CMC, especially when you factor in his injury history.

Other leading RBs have had higher ATTPG but none of those RBs had RBs behind them with the YPC that Mason has had.

Take just 15%-20% of CMC's carries and give them to Mason, then you reduce the wear and tear to CMC who has proven to be injury prone his entire career.

Kyle should have preserved CMC as much as possible to reduce the injury risk. Yes, every player risks injury every play, but Kyle was paralyzed by his dependency of CMC.

Dude I suggest you work a little harder on the interpersonal skills. Read the posts again. You said Kyle needs more than one running back. I pointed out that we were actually carrying 4 or 5 running backs of starting calibre. I actually agree that the carries should be shared more but that wasn't the point. The point I was disputing was your comment that Kyle, in your view, needs to get it into his head that he needs more than one running back.

And I suggest that you resist the temptation to insult other posters. I understand percentages very well.

You really think I meant that there was one RB? Lol, anyone who has watched a 49er game in the past 2 1/2 years understands how reliant Kyle has been on over using CMC. That was a mistake, especially when you throw in Mason's YPC averages.

I "suggest" you lighten up and not take every word so literal👍

Come on English, you know interpersonal communication skills have never been pactigers strong point
During the week there is always going to be one RB that gets more reps with the starters. The backups don't get many. It's not by choice. The league contract allows only a certain amount of practice during the week. Only 14 padded pratices during the season. Coaches play whoever they think gives them the best chance to win and CMC is more versatile than any of the other backs.

Well, you have convinced me, lol.

Any coach that takes a team to the SB is capable of coaching a team to a SB win. CG wins prove that.
