They lost in OT, they could have beaten them in a Superbowl in 2024 FFS.

Shany is never going to win. NEVER.

Oh cool look who's back from timeout

First post back as well. It would be hilarious if his first post got him another TO.

I say the post is ban worthy under the circumstances of fresh off a TO

More milquetoast behavior from Kyle. He considers his dad to be the best offensive mind ever. Saw no cracks in the offense coming into the season and doesn't want to change the scheme. He's getting worse and worse every week and continues to blame others instead of self reflection.

Disappointing.

At some point he needs a reality check.

It sounds like you and red didn't even watch the video... He said nothing of the sort.

When asked about reinventing himself, he said he is always looking to do that and "It's what are the players that you have, what do you believe in, and what gives those guys the best chance to succeed?" He referenced the fact that he totally changed the offense for Trey when we had him, and said "You gotta adjust to your players."

He said they don't focus on single traits but are looking for the best overall football player they can find when they draft or sign someone.

That's clearly not true.

During the week there is always going to be one RB that gets more reps with the starters. The backups don't get many. It's not by choice. The league contract allows only a certain amount of practice during the week. Only 14 padded pratices during the season. Coaches play whoever they think gives them the best chance to win and CMC is more versatile than any of the other backs.

Yes of course CMC is amazing... but other teams still find a way to play their other RBs to keep their stars fresh... to keep the backups at least have some type of rhythm if they are ever needed for more plays (because of injury)..

And some other teams use a two back system no? Unfortunately for us Kyle's version of a two back system only includes Deebo.
Trent Williams was completely useless.
Aiyuk was completely useless.
McCaffery was almost totally useless.
Deebo was average.

That dropped the 49ers from 2nd to 8th in yards.

We paid a lot of big money to a lot of injured, aging players. Aiyuk is not old. Just unlucky. The others have a few miles. Some more and some less. But there was some reason to be careful. Yet they paid them all. Seems like they continually mess up extensions, long term signings, FA, draft. They just got to get better. It's turning this team into a mess.

I disagree TBH. I used to think that way, but I think it only seems that way because of the majority of the guys we have and our scheme has ran around that for a bit. I understand better now where Kyle is coming from.

He basically said this:
"You have foundation of what you believe in, but your scheme will always be based on the players you have, and we want the best overall football players and the scheme will change according to the majority of the personnel we have."

This makes sense as to why we occasionally pick guys that folks might assume wouldn't fit the scheme, and why we might seem to pick the same kind of players more frequently.

John and Kyle really seem to be hinting at an OL overhaul coming. At least it seems like that to me.

Another crazy stat, Aiyuk CMC, and Deebo combined for 41 TD's last year. This year? 2

It's obvious the guy had his own alcohol issues or maybe his family did as a kid, so he thinks anyone that drinks is also an alcoholic.
