How much has Kyle refused though, because it was said by Forester that high picks were better used for skill positions. Kyle receives in out from all his position coaches. It was Brian Griese and one other coach I forgot his name who found Brock Purdy, not Kyle Shanahan. It was a position coach or scout who told Kyle Shanahan about Mike McGlinchey. It was Adam Peters who wanted to draft Ambry Thomas. You see what I'm getting at? This isn't Madden were you piece together your roster in two hours.

This isn't two hours... This is years... upon years... Many of us here have been pushing this every single offseason.

Ignoring the back 7 has been the bigger issue. Amazing that when you finally use a top 64 pick on a db you find a player.

I hear you. I'm annoyed with Shanny as well. Does he not know how to prevent injuries? All the best coaches in the league keep their players healthy. If you tear an ACL that's on the HC. Any injury is because the HC failed to teach their players how not to get injured. Ricky also getting shot is all on Shanny. Has Reid ever had a player get shot? Don't think so.

Shanny is the only coach ever to deal with injuries. Brilliant post JJJ. Lions have been absolutely decimated by injuries and their fine. Right? Yeah.

Besides Aidan, think its mostly their backups and backup backups that are injured.

Not really...

Their defense isn't playing well though and isn't most of their injuries on the defensive side. Their offense really hasn't had the type of injures that our offense has had besides Montgomery going down recently, which is why they're still scoring.

Ok... I'm not trying to come off condescending here but enlighten me of me the areas that you think Kyle has excelled at this year? Are you telling me you think the last 6-7weeks have been well coached despite injuries? We've put up 20 points only twice since our bye week 7 weeks ago. That's all just injuries?!

I dont sense that from you, but I never said Kyle has excelled this year lol. I'm just pointing out that I feel our injuries have been more impactful compared to the Lions injuries. You brought up that they've had more injuries than us and they're doing fine. I pointed out that their defense isn't playing well and that's where most of their main injures are at, but they've been able to mask that because their offense is still rolling since they don't have the type of injuries on offense as we've had. I'm not defending Kyle if thats what you're thinking. I'm just here about the injuries. Off the top of my head Niners have had injuries on the offensive side of CMC, Aiyuk, Trent, Deebo, Purdy, JJ, Mason, Gurrendo, Kittle. These have either missed the whole season or games. I don't really know all Lions players so from the offense side I can only think of Montgomery and thats just recent. If you know any more impactful one let me know lol.

They have 16 defensive players on IR. Their Oline is banged up too to bottom. Yet they are still chugging along. I mean, obviously injuries play a role but to my point this team is not being coached well and that injuries is a garbage and extremely lazy excuse. Injuries or not this team, nearly every single player, is underperforming.

Campbell is a no-excuse guy. He's repeatedly said injuries are part of the deal and the job is for anyone on the field to be good enough and prepared enough to perform. It's what you'd want and expect him to say.

"I just feel like we didn't play at the same level as that team," Campbell said. "That's why I put this on me. I didn't have them ready."

https://sports.yahoo.com/lions-injuries-are-becoming-recurring-nightmare-in-otherwise-dream-season-020417086.html

Their Oline banged up but they still have Penei and Ragnow which are arguably the top at their positions so their oline is still a top 5 unit imo. Compared that to ours and its not even a comparison. So besides just being banged up who else on their offense is injured to where they've missed huge amount of time besides Montgomery which was just recently? No one comes up which is why their offense is still rolling. You point out that they're chugging along and I repeat what I said its because their offense hasn't really missed a beat so they've been able to outscore the opponent, since they don't have the type of injuries we have on offense compared to theirs. Now their defense has had most of their big injuries and thats why they're not playing well on that side. On that side of the ball they're not just rolling along. Which brings me back to my point, our injuries are not the same.

49ers are a top 10 Total Offense with all those injuries. https://www.foxsports.com/articles/nfl/2024-nfl-offense-rankings-team-pass-and-rush-stats
Lions are ranked 2nd.

Lions are ranked 18 in Total Defense with all those injuries. https://www.foxsports.com/articles/nfl/2024-nfl-defense-rankings-team-pass-and-rush-stats

Like I said I'm not defending Kyle, hes made some bad decisions this year, but you can't just say look at Detroit, they're chugging along since our injuries are totally different. If you want to point out where Kyle needs to improve on, I would say its red zone offense where we're ranked 25th.
We've had more significant injuries. By the buffalo game we already had the league's highest amount of games missed by Probowlers/All Pros

So are you agreeing/adding on here or debating here lol... not sure where you coming from with this.
Add/agree. Muck is a hater and will skip on context to talk s**t
Rather expect greatness than openly support losing like you. Lol you make every excuse possible to celebrate and cherish losing. Every excuse...

But as I asked Dr. how about for once, just once tell me Kyle's positives this season. Thanks. Now run away like you always do. Always.
Expect greatness from practice squad players and guys off the street ?

since you are unable to see anything. Look how bad the bad teams are with most of their starters. Now look at what we were able to do with missing a ton of All pros and probowlers missing games

no way should we have 6 wins let alone be a few plays away from a winning season with 4th and 5th string players

that my hater friend is the best positive from a coach you can get from injured as fk season.

Purdy, Deebo, Kittle, Mason are practice squad guys? Fred Warner? Bosa? Huff? Ward? This team STILL has more pro-bowlers than most losing teams.
Let's see.. Injured, injured, injured, 3rd string/injured, injured, injured, death

Lol please re-read my post on the biggest positive you can ever get
No thanks...

Deebo 14 games
Kittle 13 games
Mason 12 games
Williams 10 games
Warner 15 games
Bosa 13 games
Huff 5 games
Ward 11 games

6 probowlers that have played a majority of the season. 6... That's more than most teams have.

Lol notice how ExcusesEverySecond can't even give me a single postive of Shanny this year and he intentionally cut it out? He doesn't add anything but says "read my post" lol. I did. You literally can't even give me a single player who's improved.
lol reread please. Again, I gave you the biggest positive there is.

and stop with game appearances. This ain't madden. They all missed games and they are playing with an injury that would sideline them and yet they are risking more injury for their coach. Hey just added another positive

it wasn't too long ago you clung onto about jimmy's injuries.. lol now it's not an excuse. Grow up

And lol about Jimmy when you were the one who hated on him and created bat s**t crazy conspiracies that he wasn't hurt. Remember how angry and how much you cried when he opened a water bottle? You remember crying about that? He still won games and you cried every day for 6 years about winning. Literally winning and you cried. Every day. Not some days.. Every day you cried about winning. Now you love losing. This is undebatable. You cried and cried and cried and cried about winning now make every excuse about losing. PS what's Kyles winning percentage without Jimmy? It's terrible. I miss winning... Yolu love it and cherish losing. You dream about it. You support it. You love it with every bone in your body. But winning? Cry... Everyday.

Edit: and once I figured out Jimmy was not winning us a Super Bowl, he had his chances, I wanted him gone. I just didn't have to cry every day about it. Literally cry. I want Super Bowls... Jimmy got us there and failed. Just like Kyle.

How can you post this and call someone else a crier? lol this is all due to you being hurt and crying over jimmy and now want to blame Kyle. How insecure are you. You're a grown ass man right

Since you want to ignore the positives you will never figure out real football and is why you get s**t from everyone.

but you stay good, Madden rookie mode champ. lol

Grow up

No thanks...

Deebo 14 games
Kittle 13 games
Mason 12 games
Williams 10 games
Warner 15 games
Bosa 13 games
Huff 5 games
Ward 11 games

Whoa whoa there.. I already know you like to play make believe. You will not find one post of me acting in anyway you described.

How can you post this and call someone else a crier? lol this is all due to you being hurt and crying over jimmy and now want to blame Kyle. How insecure are you. You're a grown ass man right

Since you want to ignore the positives you will never figure out real football and is why you get s**t from everyone.

but you stay good, Madden rookie mode champ. lol

Heres you crying after a playoff win. Here's you saying injuries are not an excuse. This is after a playoff win mind you. I could post hours of you not giving a s**t about injuries when it suits your hypocritical double standard agenda. Winning games with injuries.. 49AT says it's not an excuse. Losing games- suddenly it is.

Kyle just said that he likes Sorensen's work during his presser today and has faith in him.

If Sorensen continues next year we can expect about the same result for our D and another off losing season in 2025. Kyle needs to grow a pair and hire the best D coordinator for the team even if it's not his buddy, or someone that bows down to him. If he doesn't make a change for 2025 then he's putting himself on the hot seat to end his time with SF.

It's somewhat of an admission that we may have the same type of season in 2025 that we have had in 2024 because the regime knows that we have holes and depth issues on the roster. We're hoping the team drafts impact players in 2025 and that those guys play and develop, but our roster holes are so numerous as to make me think that 2025 will not be an immediate bounce back season for us. This problem is years in the making due to the compilation of bad draft + general personnel decisions and unfortunate occurrences. We're going to have to kill it in the draft for us to have any chance of rebounding at all. If we can draft well in 2025 and 2026, by then either Sorenson actually develops into a good DC, or we replace him with a good DC from outside.

Called it!

Moody is back, Sorensen is back. The only casualty will probably be Schneider.

Shannafans expecting major changes and the team to bounce back in 2025 are in for a rude awakening.

Kyle is a joke.

We'll see I guess. Personally I wanted an established DC but I don't even know who's available. We have one of the easiest schedules I've ever seen so there is no excuses for failure next year. None.

So since Shanahan and Lynch been here they brought in:

Weston Richburgh
Trent Williams
Mike McGlinchey
Alex Mack
Aaron Banks
Laken Tomlinson
Jake Brendel (unfortunately)

To say they haven't addressed the O-line is far from the truth. They just haven't addressed the O-line how we want them to. Shanahan and Lynch have gone to two Super Bowls and kept this team competitive. Sure they're not doing things the way I want them to, but I trust they'll fix the problem.

Our oline has not been great the last 2 years. I guess one can that say Puni was fantastic but it's still been the thorn in our heel that has hurt us more than any other group.
