Again I would praise this commitment/support from Jed if Kyle gave the impression he is a coach who admits mistakes, learns from those mistakes, open to trying to fix issues.

But no... nothing will change next year. Sure we'll have CMC back..maybe another player or two (who will hopefully play to their previous level)... but at the end of the day, Kyle is in charge. He makes the calls. He makes the decisions on who to play... for how long....what to choose in OT... etc. None of that is going to change. We had a pretty healthy team in 2023 (not including Huff) and we barely won our two playoff games because inexperience of those young teams and Detriot's knucklehead coach. And of course lost the Super Bowl.

By next year those teams (Lions, Packers) will be better.. and the Vikings are here to stay with their solid head coach... and other NFC teams are headed in the right direction, the reason they were in the playoff hunt/in the playoffs. With maybe head coaches who won't trip over themselves..and will let their players try to win their games, without the head coach getting in the way.

Kyle peaked and is heading downhill. We are in the midst of a rebuild right now. Some just can't admit it. But it is what it is.
This. As a fan of one of the most iconic sports teams of all time, we should expect a higher standard from this organization

I think so too. But the Yorks or at least Jed are sold on him for now. I think he's false hope by a long shot. But we are stuck for now. Until the next regime rebuild. Which could come as early as after next season if it's another failure.
Damn I want Donte Whitner to be our D coordinator. I know maybe a defense assistant.

The dreaded participation trophy. They worship Shany and can't see the truth. You will never win with him.

Eventually everyone will come to that conclusion. Some of us are just there sooner than others.

I agree. Loved when he played for us & love his analysis after each game

IHe went over almost every issue in detail. I remember how he played the game reminds me of Warner (Yes Warner is better) in the way he approaches the game. He might be a little harsh with some players but that's OK. We need to get our gonads back.

This 1000 times

Some fans are so weak that don't want to admit it but deep inside we all know it.
Anytime an owner is forced to make a statement about replacing the hc it means, in a subtle way, it's being considered. I think realistically, Kyle is on the clock. He needs to have a very productive offseason. The draft /free agency will be critical to hit right. I think he can. This season opened his eyes on a couple of fronts. Defense and offensive line help is top to do. I think he also evaluated some of our stars.. Deebo, huff, etc from a long term team standpoint. I expect a lot of new faces next year. If we hit right and end up 500 or better it's a success. He earns another year. If we miss and we end up a 5 or 6 win team he might be on his way out. He can rebuild at least he used to be able to rebuild. It's only fair to give him the opportunity. He might surprise us. He ain't going anywhere yet so let's see how he does.

I really want to like my coach "……………but he makes it hard.
