four good but not good enough seasons from Kyle. I've seen enough. The sooner we pivot the better.
we need OL so badly!! But Kyle drafts McGlinchey and passes on Tristan Wirfs. This is our great leader 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
You need to look at those 4 bad seasons. The first 2 were spent getting rid of bad players and rebuilding a team that had reached bottom. The other 2 were years when they suffered significant injuries. In 2020 JG was lost forthe season in the 3rd game. Bosa only played 2 games. Then we have this year where nearly every offensive starter and several backups missed significant time.
It more realistic to look at what the team did when it wasn't decimated by key injuries.
Context is key, but it's hard to grasp for some of the Faithful in this forum.
I think the key word is "enough". Being on the verge of a SB win is good. It's not good enough though. The goal should always be to WIN the SB.
The question is, at what point do we get to "enough is enough" and we move on? Obviously, we all have different answers to that question.
Their goal in recent years has always been to win the SB. It's why they have several players who are the highest paid at their position. If bringing in a new coach was the answer to all their problems I'm sure they would do it. Problem is it's not the answer. What other coach in the league could have won this season with nearly every key player missing so many games. He was juggling lineuos efvery week.
