You didn't need to draw this asinine comparison to make the point that Kyle is having a bad year. I'm here everyday and don't really see people arguing to the contrary. What I do see people arguing is that he's a very good coach and worth retaining even though he hasn't won a Super Bowl and is having a bad year now. That he's a driving factor in us being a Super Bowl contender for half a decade after taking over a complete dumpster fire of an organization. The kind of organization that would consider replacing a winning coach with a guy like Jim Tomsula.

Kyle has never lost in the wildcard or divisional round so I guess when Harbaugh loses to Baltimore next week Kyle will clearly be the better playoff coach.

He's won the NFC, what twice and has had 4 winning seasons outta eight seasons he's been with the 49ers. By some of your logic, the 49ers will have to replace the head coach every time he has a losing season. I think Shanahan has earned some cushion as the 49ers head coach.

Kyle Shanahan is the San Francisco 49ers Head Coach and their isn't a got damn thing you can do about it except whine and cry. lol

There's no coach out there that would've had winning seasons with the 9ers in 2017 and 2018. He's really 4 out of 6 for seasons with requisite talent.

Coach JIM HARBAUGH never had a losing season in the NFL. He didn't lose 4/8 years like some SLUG.

Stop it. Everyone with a brain remembers that 2017 was a rebuilding year, and 2018 and 2020 were years he lost his starting QB for most of the season. This was the first bad season that he had his starting QB all season, and the rest of the roster was totally wiped out with injuries. We went to the NFC championship game 4 times in a 5 year span before this season. Stop crying about everything like were Dallas.

I think this has gone as far as it ought to go, here. Criticisms are one thing, abuse is another matter entirely. Had he been found beating up a girlfriend or having sex with underaged girls, there might be some reason but there is no justification here.

And, by the by, no NFL Coach, even Bill Walsh or Bill Belichick, could do much with the level of injuries to key players that we have seen this year.

Additionally, readRule #1 and stop being so unpleasant to each other.

Exactly!! That's the s**t he leaves out. Not to mention the hold outs, the 1st round pick being shot, players kids passing away. The season was a mess and doomed from the start.
