Yah but you can't really blame the 4th quarter blunder on Shanahan last week when his kicker missed what three FG's. He's shown that he and Brock and the offense can be consistent when they're mostly healthy.

I know. I critique him but try to always remain open minded. I think he is good, but has his faults.

Yes I 100% blame Kyle for putting Moody out to kick fgs. It was his choice to put him out there for a 58 yard embarrassing attempt. Every single one of us knew he wasn't going to hit that. Terrible coaching decision. They then admit on TV Kyle doesn't even know how to talk to or approach special teams. Kyle admitted to the announcers.

Yea plus maybe Kyle wanted closure on Moody and got it with that latest miss. I usually see stuff coming, but the decline of Moody really shocked me. He's got a huge leg and thought maybe he could fix the accuracy issues throughout the season, but he just got worse.

I am always 50/50 with a kicker (Aside Gould) I wanted to see for sure. Helps Kyle make offseason decisions in a game that was about seeing who is who etc

The offense did look good again this week except Shanahan wasn't calling it this week. Kubiak called the game and did a real nice job.

I know. I critique him but try to always remain open minded. I think he is good, but has his faults.

No doubt, like only utilizing one RB in the game for majority of the snaps. Abandoning the run too early in the game. Not benching bad players when it's needed, for instance Jake Brendel, but I think it has more to do with Foerster than Shanahan. Just a few things, I had problems with, but I'm gonna have another problem with him if he doesn't get rid of Sorensen.

I don't think it was about the game, it was about the player. The 49ers desperately want Moody to get right, and Kyle gave him an opportunity to do that. If he misses, we're in the same place, but if he makes it, it's a step in the right direction heading into next season. That's coaching.

A lot of kickers have strong legs and the number of FGs over 50 yards is up. However accuracy overall is down. I've seen countless games where extra points are missed. I've seen guys make 55 yard kicks and then miss one from 35. I've seen a lot of kickoffs go out of bounds this year. It seems like they're sacrificing overall accuracy for distance. Like a golfer that can hit a drive 330 yards but can't always hit the fairway.
