Fact is, some say, Kyle did not utilise Jimmy effectively and you can see that Kyle Shannahan is starting to do the same thing with Brock Purdy.

Brock's work in the red zone has Kyle's initials all over it. Conservative, conservative, conservative.

Add to that a kicker like moody who misses as many as he gets, and you can see why the fan base of the San Francisco 49ers is Uber frustrated with what they have seen recently.

Add this to the fact Kyle lost an unlosable Superbowl to Kansas City when 10-0 up and again playing Uber conservative offence, so much so that All World tight End George Kittle ended the game with one reception for two years and you get the picture. It all adds up.

Kyle makes the same mistakes, over and over and over and over and over and over again.

From Matt Ryan in the Superbowl to this year of mediocracy.

Jimmy has not done just fine lol. Dude was f**king terrible in LV. He didn't even make it a full season there and that's with one of the best WRs in football history and player caller he's known forever. He's a backup level QB and will be that the rest of his career. Kyle made him a lot of money.

One person complains about Kyle being conservative and another complains about him being too aggressive. You can tell ya'll have emotional takes that lack perspective and nuance. Ya'll can't even be on the same page with the complaints

All the whinny takes have been over exaggerated again and again. s**t is stale

you are talking about the Los Vegas Raiders who sack everybody, and no one wants to play there.

With the Niners Jimmy proved himself time and again.

We could have easily won two Superbowls with Jimmy, in fact we should have.

Except Kyle got in the way.

Except with Matt Ryan he got crucified for not being conservative. Fact is, he put his team in position to win the SB and they s**t the bed. They had a holding call that negated what basically would have iced the game after a big gain. They had a RB miss a block then the QB taking a sack knocking them out of FG range and a fumble. I haven't even got to the defense yet. Being up 38-3 then losing.

This past SB we scored on our last 3-4 possessions to keep giving us the lead. Once again his defense can't make a play.

In ATLANTA neither his offense nor defense made a play down the stretch to win. On offense plays were there to be made they didn't make them.

This past Superbowl his unit made the plays down the stretch. Him as HC/OC should be at worse 2-1 in Superbowls. Argument can be made 3-0 but 1st KC Superbowl there was definitely blame on Kyle for being conservative IMO.

lol

It's a joke and stale as s**t. they can't even be on the same page with what they're b***hing about. You can tell there's a real lack of understanding of how football works.

Ok what do you think Kyle did well this year NY? We talk so much negativity in here but let's be positive about this season. No excuses just what Kyle did well please. Let's be positive please but I need you to enlighten me since you apparently understand more than me.

I noticed you skipped over the post of me showing your double standards. Wonder why?

You said Jimmy has been just fine without Kyle. That isn't correct. You can find reasons and/or excuses for that reality, but it is reality.

7 TDs and 9 Ints in 6 games played with LVR last year. Also threw a pick in his lone start with the Rams.

Reduced to being a backup QB in the NFL.

That doesn't sound like he's done just fine without Kyle.

I'm not gonna even read, people sticking up for Jimmy after SF….LOL
Will you continue to call plays or will you delegate that sometimes?

KS: "I mean, yeah I'll continue to call plays, but Klay and I have done everything here the last two years together kind of hand in hand. We put the game plan in together. Yeah, I call it, only one person can speak to the quarterback, but I mean him, [run game coordinator/offensive line coach Chris] Foerster, [tight ends coach Brian] Fleury, those are the guys I rely on through play calling throughout the game. It's not like I'm just in silence there calling every play. I'm discussing it with the guys we've prepared with in the week, discussing it with the guys who are talking with their players and what they see. And that's the same thing we all did for Klay versus Arizona."

Certain people have tried to portray narratives about Kyle and an apparent" so called ego". Looks like his so called ego asks him to lean on his assistants for input on gamedays wrt his playcalling.
these are great debates, and feel free to put the JG stuff in that thread

i think it does boil down at the end of the day, Kyle has no idea what he's looking for at QB or how to get it.

we continually make all the wrong moves at QB. seems shanny is doomed to go his whole tenure here, without a truly dynamic weapon at QB, to unlock more of the offense. he has more game manager types. if you give kyle a dual threat high level game changing QB we would probably wreck the league. it's getting late in the process now, he may only get one more move at QB, which is pay brock.

Hahaha right?

in one breath it's he's too controlling in another breath it's Kyle is responsible for every single thing no matter what. They can't even argue properly…sound like a bunch of kids complaining just of complain.

Truly dynamic weapons at QB are incredibly hard to find. Franchises go decades without finding them. We're one of them.

That's one of the things that makes Kyle a valuable asset. We can be a multi-year contender without one.

They've been going to NFCCs and SBs. The only team that can say all they do is win is KC. So go be one of their fans.

the lack of perspective is f**king incredible. Ya'll can't be this thick headed.

you're whining over ONE f**king game. Kyle wins one game and he's untouchable and can coach here as long as he wants, right?

2 SBs
2 NFCC

3 of those he should've won. But as you said, can't be perfect
