Bill Walsh let Joe just do his own thing all game long?
Hahaha right?
in one breath it's he's too controlling in another breath it's Kyle is responsible for every single thing no matter what. They can't even argue properly…sound like a bunch of kids complaining just of complain.
So what did Kyle do good this year? Anyone? I'm trying to be positive but you guys can't name a song positive yet. Why not? Ny you always run away but anyone else?
It was a s**t year all around. The good coaches tho, when it's a down year for whatever reasons, know how to keep their teams motivated, not lose the locker room, and players still going out and playing hard. There were no subtle jabs by players, no media sound bites from players, it was still all positivity because of the culture he created it and because the players still believe in him.
Unlike some of our idiotic fans, players understand how bad this season was because all the injuries. So until the players start rebelling against the Kyle, there's no reason to listen to some of these idiotic fans who sit around licking the Cheeto dust of their fingers and acting like they know s**t.
Decent response... It's nice when you actually talk football instead of attacking posters every once in great great a while. There most definitely does seem to be good camaraderie and chemistry outside of homeboy quitting which I won't pin on Kyle. I said yesterday(all year) that he deserves another off-season to reload and get healthy.
With that said, I think you're driving my point that there was not a lot of good of anything coming out of this season. Very little like Puni, Green, JJ, and Lenoir but not much. We blew leads we shouldn't have, again. We turned the ball over. We didn't get turnovers, we were outscored by 75 points in the fourth, redzone was dismal, defense was bad, offense was bad, special teams was an embarrassment... .. . I could go on and on.
You guys think a HC has absolutely NOTHING to do with any of that. Me? I think it's a direct reflection of poor coaching. No tangibles, no discipline, no moxy in the 4th, very little player development and very little anyone playing above their average. Not is everything his fault? No but it still is his fault.
I don't think Kyle is perfect or best HC in the league. I don't think he's in that top 3-5 coaches yet, very close tho. He's a very good head coach, that can be one of the best.
I do think he needs to be better at time management, better at in game adjustments. Him being too loyal to players (it links with his in game adjustments). Him overusing some players, even when it's not working, also hampers his in game adjustments (part of the player loyalty problem). Drafting a RB every year also annoys me lol.
With that said, this season the main issue was injuries. If you can't admit to that it's pointless discussion. Not only the injury problems, but players like CMC, Trent, BA, starting the season poorly shouldn't be blamed on Kyle either. Ricky getting shot. Ward losing his daughter and missing all those games. We had so much s**t go wrong that had nothing to do with Kyle.
All of that attributed to all those things you listed. I mean ffs sake, last year Deebo, CMC, BA, combined for 40 TDs, this year 4...Purdy also didn't play to his previous 2 years level either, he also looked off (playing hurt most likely). Kyle isn't telling players to fumble or throw bad picks. So you would actually have a point if in previous years we also sucked in the redzone, we also sucked on defense, we also sucked in the 4th, we were getting blown out, etc.
Idc if you're BB, without the right personnel, you're not gonna do well as a HC, as he proved as well.
