Stop making s**t up.

This was a dumbass play call even if he completes it.

Your going to give mahomes the ball back with 1:35

You think he can't get at least a fg with that much time left?

How about methodically use all the clock to get down there and then score and win a SB.

Instead we got dumbass play calls like this that even if the low percentage play was a completion we still lose.

Freaking PTSD...

Another shanahan classic choke that would have happened a minute and a half later...

Welcome to the discussion BRG and yes, clock management by Kyle Shannahan has been a problem since Moses was a boy.

Jimmy G was never really used correctly by Kyle Shanahan

And now the same thing is happening to Brock Purdy.

It's the pattern from the ego maniacal, power lustful, tyrannical tyrant named Kyle Shannahan.

We got a bunch of zoners who would think that after mahomes won the game with 1:35 left there is no way that could have been predicted.

The same zoners that are always claiming hindsight is 20/20. It's not hindsight it's basic coaching skills.

There's a reason Kyle chokes.

He manifests the situations themselves. Above is a great example. It's entirely predictable that mahomes just drives down with 1:35 left so maybe you should use all of the clock and not give him the opportunity.

The same thing with the fumble with CMC in the Superbowl. There's no way that anyone could ever predict an injured running back might be significantly more prone to fumbling the ball.

He chokes because he's clueless to basic obvious decisions.

The brown catch vs the eagles. Which wasn't a catch. That was a huge momentum swing either way you at least call timeout and take a look or immediately challenge the play.

It's basics he can't even master. The actual coaching part that doesn't involve drafting up plays. He's not cut out for outsmarting 3-4 good coaches in a row. That's why he will always choke away games in the playoffs. He negates the talent with stupidity.

The deep throw with 95 seconds left was an idiotic playcall for the reason you mentioned. A TD really doesn't help. Only killing clock would. But it never comes down to that if he ran the ball up by ten. He decided to play that 4th quarter as if Tom Brady or Peyton Manning was his QB. Run the ball. Kill clock. Force them to have less time.

After the game, Chiefs players were saying how happy they were that we stopped running. They all but admitted the game is over if we run. That made angry 😠.

I blame Crappolo for not executing. But I put most of the blame on Shanahan for having zero time management awareness. Nor knowing the caliber of QB he had.

We have 7 SB's right now if Belichick or McVay are coaching the niners in those SB's. And no one can ever convince me SB 58 isn't a blowout win if said coach(es) are on our sideline.
Just think it's worth pointing out that the offense we were playing was so good people think it was 'bad' to call a play that could have scored a go ahead touchdown from 50 yards out in the Super Bowl, with 90 seconds left. Like it was going to be easy to dictate when and how we scored, lol,

'Unlosable' game though with a 10 pt lead and 7 minutes left.

I'll take that TD every single time.

lol its so funny how they were posting about Kyle being too conservative then as soon as someone post a play of Kyle being aggressive its, No! Kyle needs to be conservative here and not score there. The Chiefs should allow us to slowly march down and score and win lol.... Not defending anyone but that cracks me up

BB got fired because he couldn't win without brady

Mcvay traded the farm for Stafford because he didn't know how to coach Goff

No way those two could even make the the playoffs if they had to play with all of our QBs not named Purdy

We must protect this HOUSE!

Not quite the same thing.

Didn't say it was. But if you are cooked you are done completely. He wasn't cooked

i also saw interviews where he said he regretted walking away.

Bill Walsh regretted walking away from the San Francisco 49ers, Eddie D or no Eddie D.

Eddie D wasn't the determining factor there.

it was the pressure that Bill put on himself.

So Eddie Ds pressure was the determining factor for Walsh success but not a determining factor in him walking away.

As Phoenix said Eddie is a spoiled rich boy without Bill. Bill would've been a HoF coach wherever he went without Eddie.

I don't think you know the history. Walsh would have never got the opportunity without Eddie D.

Here's my question for you; How old was Walsh when he got his first NFL head coaching job and what team gave him that job?

48. 11 years younger than Vic Fangio when he got his first opportunity. 13 some odd years younger than Bruce Arians when he got his I believe.

And folks think he had opportunities headed his way without Eddie D bringing him in? You only know of two other coaches getting an opportunity so late in their coaching career.
Holy s**t we really have people claiming a TD playcall on 3rd and 10 was bad???

Did you all forget what the offense was doing in that 4th quarter? Now we want to bash Kyle for dialing up a would be TD play because it left too much time on the clock?

Name one elite OC or DC that wanted to be a HC that never got the opportunity at some point?

Pretty sure all or most OC/DC's that never got the opportunity would fall into that category.

so hundreds if not thousands of guys?

Its the Kyle haters what do you expect? Same group who puts Dan Campbell on a pedestal for his aggressiveness. Its cool when he does it, you know since he has won all those regular season games.
