49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

It's whinny emotional entitled nonsense. They can't even use their own debates on other coaches across the league because it would totally contradict what they're complaining about. The lack of perspective is truly astonishing.

like I keep saying if Kyle won ONE more game, then what? Kyle is untouchable for the next 15-20yrs? He could go .500 and be one and done in the playoffs every yr after because of ONE game 15 yrs ago lol?

I mean according to them we should fire Kyle and hire Doug Peterson because you know he won a SB once

that is all I care about. everything after that is fluff, and can be debated at a later date. my preliminary answer: if Kyle had won in 2019, I would be against firing him.

So basically Sherman epically choking on 3rd and 15 is why you think Kyle is a horrible coach that needs to be fired? If Sherman doesn't choke and everything remains the same you're saying Shanahan is great and doesn't suck?

Your trolling is beyond obvious at this point. Thank goodness you don't own an NFL team lol

Moseley screwed up the 3rd and 15 not Sherman

I'm telling you: they're closet Browns/Texans/Lions/Jaguars fans trying to make themselves feel better about their teams never playing in a Super Bowl. They tell themselves "I've never watched my team LOSE a Super Bowl! 😇" so they can make themselves feel better about decades of irrelevancy. That's literally all it is.

Nobody with more than a couple brain cells thinks Brady is a bottom 3 QB of all time just because he lost three Super Bowls, more than the vast majority of QB's. It's nonsense.

To summarize the thinking in this thread, we lose better than them. They lose in WCs and divisionals, we one up them by losing NFCC and SBs. Eat that Tomlin !

Let's fire Kyle for Doug Pederson then. All problems are fixed.

Or Ben Johnson

If the Lions lose the Super Bowl to the Chiefs, which is extremely, extremely possible, are you still going to want Ben Johnson? After all, you don't want any Super Bowl LOSERS, am I right?
McCarthy available now too.

Any mistake Johnson makes will be Dan Campbells fault. Only one coordinator in the history of football gets the blame for a SB loss.

Johnson "choked" away the biggest game in Lions history last yr to Kyle. Didn't score a pt in the 2nd half until there was like 3mins left in the game.

you know that's no his fault though, he's only the OC. That's the hypocritical rebuttal.

Right lol. They should all be screaming for Dan Campbell then, you know it all starts and ends with the HC! Every win and loss is because of the HC! Everything else is an excuse.

He also would rather we had just lost to the Lions. Because LOSING a Super Bowl is just sooo much worse than anything else! Only LOSERS LOSE Super Bowls! Look at Mahomes against the Bucs! Such a LOSER!

There's so much lack of perspective (yes I'll keep saying it) and little to no actual football understanding. It's all emotional fan talk and the hypocrisy of all it, is f**king hilarious.

Look at Reid for 25yrs. Yet they all like lick his nuts in here lol. all it took was having one of if not the best QB of all time for him to get there. BUT you know he's the best HC ever.

there's no objective discussion to be had with those "fans"….we can all have normal discussions and understand that Kyle has is warts (all HCs do) and also understand he's a f**king damn good HC who's consistently put this team in a position to go to NFCCs and SBs when the roster is ravaged with injuries.

My god all these "winners" out there! Doug Peterson, McCarthy, Carroll, Jon Gruden, Gary Kubiak, Bruce Arians etc…we should totally let Kyle go for one of them. You know because they won a SB once!
