I don't think people realize how much input guys like LaFleur/McDaniels/Slowik/both Kubiaks etc have on the offense. They put all the game plans together. They're all talking to each other on every play. Play-calling is just being the person who talks to the QB.

it's the same thing with Campbell, you don't think he has any say in the offensive play calls? Dude has the ultimate say in how it goes down. He's not just a cheerleader.

I mean, it's not just the coaches either…the QB has multiple plays and can audible whenever.

He needs to have a better drop back passing game, his red zone offense needs to improve and he needs to not be as involved in the draft process. Still a coach who brings a winning culture and made San Francisco a destination team for players. And in no way deserves to be fired or even hinted to be fired cause he had a bad season. I believe he will improve his passing game and red zone offense this off season.
