Who would have thought when we beat the San Deigo Chargers, that 30 years later, the fans would still be thirsty for No 6.

Thirst like a Vampire at a Blood Bank.

If we were irrelevant for 30 years, the franchise wouldn't be worth 6 Billion today. So I don't think we're irrelevant, actually the opposite. We haven't won a chip in 30 years I agree and sadly hate.

The Andy Reid criticisms are legit. After Kyle Shanahan, he ranks number two on the list of modern day coach chokers. The only season he has success now is because he found a QB that plays outside his scheme. Mahomes breaks the rules. He knows Reid's propensity is to s**t the tank, so when it comes to crunch times, he starts playing backyard football. Unless you find Kyle Shanahan that kind of quarterback, ain't no Brock Purdy, Matt Ryan, Robert Griffin III, Kirk Cousins, or Jimmy Garopollo that will get him out fizzling out in crunch time. Of that crew, Griffin III could have had the best chance bc he played outside the bounds of Kyle's playbook, but he busted his knee before his career got started.

Plus Andy Reid has Steve Spagnuolo who enters his sixth season as the Chiefs defensive coordinator in 2024.

So Mahomes magic and Spags defensive intelligence and planning outweighs Andy Ried's chocking.

And you are right about Kyle. He is actually a quarterback killer. Kyle's coaching destroys the natural flair of a quaterback.

Mahomes is the most overrated player in the league today and is purely a product of the best coach in the game and his scheme.

They said the same thing about Montana with Bill Walsh.

They said the same thing with Tom Brady and Bill Belichick.

Keep the dream alive bud. There's a much higher probability Kyle gets tossed out from SF than for him to bring a title anytime soon. Of course, I'm looking forward to the spin when that time comes. It's become eerily similar to the Alex Smith cult to be perfectly honest. He had this core group of fans that thought he was a legit franchise quarterback. Just missing some key pieces from coaching and supporting cast, and he would prove his worth. A lot of fans followed him to KC, rooting for him thinking that with a different environment and Andy his head coach, a new elite quarterback would emerge. Instead, he got bent over by Marcus Mariotta in the playoffs and a couple seasons later became an afterthought. That time will come for Kyle, and for the fans that were asking for his head since the collapse vs LA in the NFCCG….well, we'll just point fingers at you guys and laugh.

Get a life, man. Make an argument worth listening to instead of embarrassing yourself with the same schtick every day.

How did Kyle (and Brock) fizzle out in last years SB? I thought the play calls were top notch (most times, not all the time) and I think we regained the lead 3 different times? Kyle called an excellent play that Brock knew where to go with the ball, and one offensive lineman sh*t the bed. I'm like 99% convinced we easily convert that 3rd and 4 and possibly score a TD on that play if it wasn't for the tragedy. If it wasn't that play it would have been one of the next four

The Rings, the Thing!

Yes the Cowboys are relevant, if they weren't people wouldn't still be buying their merchandise. The rings are different issue, 49ers are relevant and your bolded post is wrong.

If you want to go the Rings route what is relevant to Super Bowl rings, teams that want to win it correct? What teams just past 5 years have been close to winning it? Are they 49ers one of those? Doesn't that make them relevant to Rings then? If you want to bring up total rings we have 5 so we're relevant there too.
