Well it could be Singletary, or Chip Kelly too. Maybe a really good coach with a challenging personality that we'll have to blow up regardless of results.

One things for certain: our track record with hires and the hiring process is very promising.

but anyways. Seems like Kyle is digging his own grave. We're basically one Staley / Sorenson hire away from showing him the door next offseason. He can do us a favor and take those guys with him to Cleveland or Chicago or wherever he ends up…

I do not know what you would call something where in the beginning you seem to be winning and have full control then at the end you blow it and lose...

To me that's literally the definition of choking. And shanahans done it twice. 3x if you count the falcons. Literally Vegas has had us favored to win the SB all 4 playoffs so really you could round that to 5x if you want to go by the guys who literally make a living doing it.

I'm not sure what you need to "prove" something but if you can do it 5x and never do the opposite id say it proves it.

He definitely hasn't "proven" he can win a SB. Coming close doesn't count and per Vegas it's literally a 4x failure on the 49ers alone not counting the falcons.

Absolutely incorrect. The only year we were favorites was last year, and it was a 1-1.5 pt spread. That's the only time we've lost as a favorite.

We were underdogs in the first SB, every playoff game in 2021, and the NFC championship against Philly.

*Correction: PFR says we were a 2 pt favorite in last season's super bowl*
