On a scale of proven can win a SB to proven choker which side would you say he is closer to?

The nuanced definition of losing in the Kyle Shanahan world. We didn't lose….it was just a very close, competitive game to a great opponent

It's not we didn't lose. It's we didn't 'choke'. In the context of the SB we played an evenly matched team and lost in two closely contested games.

Again, we have only lost one time in the postseason as a favorite under Kyle: last year's SB. We were a 2 point favorite (ie not big at all).

Choking is losing when you're a big favorite, like 1987 for example.

Can't blame players each and every time. A team gets 11 penalties in a game. Can't blame each individual player over and over. At some point, the leader becomes accountable. Team finds a way to lose again and again and again, getting out scored in the 4th quarter by 60 points. Can't keep blaming the defense each and every game for miscues. At some point have to blame the coach. Team has 10 point leads in big games on 3 different occasions. Had opportunities to close out each of those 3 games and either win or advance to a Super Bowl, but fail to do it. It becomes comical when fans find 20 different ways to blame each and every player for those faults, but find the leader of the bunch not accountable.

Quit making knucklehead decisions in the playoffs, Shanny. Or, your meat, sucker.

And Andy Read was a choker until he wasn't. Bill Belicheck is an on and off choker. Shula was a mega choker except for one year.
