Yah I did but all the Benny fans are quiet.
How convenient.. kinda like the last three seasons
All I'll say is that the Commanders had a 4th and 2 in the first half where it begged them to go for it.

They did. Shanny may have gone for it; likely wouldn't have and taken the FG.

But let's say he did; I'd foresee running CMC up the gut when everyone expects that and him getting stuffed a yard shy, through no fault of his own.

I dream of moving a mobile qb like purdy toward the perimeter and giving him the opportunity to scramble on the edge for the marker or finding someone open on an out route.

Commanders called a straight bootleg with daniels and converted.

I'm not saying that will always work or like I know football better than NFL coaches...but I loved the call regardless of if it worked...it made sense given who you have and the situation.

I don't know that Shanahan has that in him and if he ever did, can he regain it?

Who knows, but your run game at the time will dictate and help that play action play work

Kyle got to the NFCCG with his 3rd string QB.

According to Kyle his 3rd string QB was his best QB and yet he let him ride the pine till he had no other choice but to play him.

Stupid takes on this issue. Enough already. We should be more worried about how we can catch up and surpass teams that are clearly better than we are. How do we rebuild our defense and how do we get our offense back to scoring touchdowns. Kyle ain't going anywhere for now so enough with the sniping at each other. Jesus.

Cut bad players
sign good players
draft good players
sign everyone before camp
turn off injuries in options
start season with easiest schedule in the NFL

Let's fnn go!

He thought he was, but imagine Kyle announcing he was going to start Mr. Irrelevant at the start of the 2022 season, coming off of championship game appearance. Any critic or would be critical of Kyle would be insufferable.

Practice and game are very different for QBs. You can be Kurt Warner flying under the radar for years. Pro QBs throwing with no real pass rush all kinda looks the same (unless you're Trey bad)

I remember Grant and his crew during the 23 tc battles always saying "yea Brock woulda totally been sacked there so I didn't count his nice play"

Coaches fight the same battle. Would he really get away from the rush there? Would he be scrambling like this when dudes are really trying to kill him? It's very hard to just throw a 7th rounder in there based on practice

Kyle got to the NFCCG with Jimmy G with a bad shoulder.
I love all this talk about the Commanders being so agressive on fourth down. Let's not forget that the Lions D was not in his best shape and wasn't really good. And it sure helps when the opponent put 12 players on the field on fourth down and nobody is calling timeout.

What killed the Lions wasn't so much the Commanders. It was all their mistakes. Goff's fumble and interceptions, Ben Johnson thinking it was a clever idea to put the ball in Jameson Williams's hands, the 12 players on fourth and two.
In a match like that against a tough, well coached opponent, you can't expect winning the game by making so many stupid plays.
