Kyle got to the NFCCG with Jimmy G with a bad shoulder.
I love all this talk about the Commanders being so agressive on fourth down. Let's not forget that the Lions D was not in his best shape and wasn't really good. And it sure helps when the opponent put 12 players on the field on fourth down and nobody is calling timeout.
What killed the Lions wasn't so much the Commanders. It was all their mistakes. Goff's fumble and interceptions, Ben Johnson thinking it was a clever idea to put the ball in Jameson Williams's hands, the 12 players on fourth and two.
In a match like that against a tough, well coached opponent, you can't expect winning the game by making so many stupid plays.

I know we haven't won it all yet but props to Kyle for always having this team prepared to make deep playoff runs every single time we get in

Tbf, I was really hard on them last night, but in their defense, the people who really badly wanted us to fire Kyle just desperately needed to come up with an answer to the perfectly fair question of "okay so who are we replacing Kyle with?" since they never had a legitimate answer. Ben Johnson was finally seen as their possible answer but now that he's been exposed, they will now quietly revert to the next hot commodity, such as Kliff Kingsbury (despite the fact that Kyle owned him while he was with the Cardinals lol)

Touché.
Which OC/DC wins the Super Bowl this season? It'll likely just be them that we should replace Kyle with lol

A third defensive coordinator in three years is a direct reflection on Kyle. Changes to the team's stale offensive and defensive schemes (it's not a Cover-3 league anymore, Kyle) are necessary. And, boy, do the Niners ever need to nail this upcoming offseason in both free agency and the draft, as a complete rebuild of the offensive and defensive lines is necessary.

lol years of coordinators getting promotions, is for sure on Kyle. 🤣
stale offense was one of the best offenses per DVOA this past decade in 2023. When folks don't use context, you know their bias s**t
