Already Jayden is a better and more lethal version of Lamar.

You get swayed by recency far too easily.

We will see. Time will tell.

Jayden has more poise than Lamar,

And Jayden has one play off win less than Lamar already.

I really am bored of these false narratives repeated year after year with no actual basis in reality.

4-2 in the playoffs vs 3-5.... And one dudes still on his rookie contract...

Chokers gunna choke.

Hell I'd take fraud Jalen over Lamar and he wilts when the games put on him also.

Shanahan with Lamar would look the same as with Lance... Dude would be out by game 6 every year...

You might have set a record for bad takes per word here.

Team success as a means of judging players.
Jalen > Lamar
Lamar = Lance in our system.

impressive stuff.

The point is if you hitch your team to a specific type of QB who has far limiting portions of his game your going to likely be limited on coaching success until you move on from them. IE llamar ie kap. IE Tebow.

You could get lucky but even Cam came up short and he was a far better athlete than llamar.

Jalen actually has a chance to squeak a SB out this year. This all depends on how well he gets hidden though. Again I'd rather have Jalen then llamar because he can kind of limited pass from the pocket. He doesn't immediately fully limit the playbook hiding him. You just can't put too much on him to deep pass or make consecutive big throws.

Harbaugh was even smart this year bringing in Henry to try to just play smash mouth and not pass. Similar to how the eagles brought saquon. The issue is Henry is older than saquon and Jalen can pass better than llamar.

Again though llamar and harbs haven't even come close to sniffing a SB. I'm sure harbaughs happy though that llamar has 3 mvps and he hasn't come close to a sb since ditching flacco.
Talking about Derrick Henry and Saquan Barkley, our version of them CMC has to stay fit this year. He can say whatever he likes but CMC has a history of injuries.

My unofficial value for CMC is we're at least a 10 point better team (2 additional FG a game instead of a midfield stalled drive punt, and turning a deep redzone FG in to a TD).

Opposition Defences have to do so much more to account for him it opens up everything for us, meaning they can't just play high safeties and limit the big plays for our receivers. More attention and focus mean more isolation for the receivers. Longer drives, more moving the chains, improved redzone, more clock control etc etc.

We just need to keep CMC.fit and make sure that his not impacted by the Achilles issues

Biggest issue on the O line is Brendel. They fix that and they will be improved. Get Erik McCoy.

Definitely is. Id be locked in on upgrading LG and C. I'd try to find a tackle for obvious reasons (Trent's age), but the left side was the clear weakness.
The biggest issue is not even on the field. It's the awful drafting from 2020 to 2023. Almost all of the issues are related to simply not having the right players. If they can't fix the drafting, it really doesn't matter whatever changes they make on the field.

They basically need a homerun draft (again) in 2025 to start pointing this thing in the right direction again.

correct, draft well. then it's up to shanny, the 8 figure per year man, to get rookies onto the field and producing. player development. i see mcvay play the kids and they did well. now that takes coaching to simplify the operation so they can execute it right away, but still complex for the opponent.

It's still 2018 apparently.

This is another reason why Brock will get a new deal this offseason. The Trey Lance move put this franchise into a bad spot in more ways than one.

Forget missing on a QB that high, giving away those picks cost us key depth and put us behind the 8 ball on adding talent. We've had a great track record of finding late round gems but it's hard to keep doing that consistently.

The other issue in that 2020 draft is I believe they added players they felt would be a better fit with Trey vs adding guys they believed were better for their system.

Banks, Sermon and Danny Gray IMO were all picks made because we took Trey Lance. Had we not taken him I don't think any of those players would've been selected.
Very true genius49.

We have Brock or we have nothing.

We need to pay Saleh whatever he wants to come back and be DC. Kyle needs an assistant HC/O-coordinator. But the biggest problem this team has had this year is aging veterans who aren't worth their contracts.

Really happy about the youngsters we drafted, and looking forward to this draft. We need serious help on the trenches on both sides of the ball. The D-Line is @$$. Bosa is great, but gets hurt a lot as he gets older. Bosa Needs someone on the other end who can relieve pressure on him. Too many double-teams and chop blocks will end his career earlier than we want. Greenlaw is great, but he's hurt way too much - he needs to be given a 'prove-it' type deal: stay healthy and you get these bonuses (no huge guaranteed money).

Need to draft some interior O-line, and DB and DT, help too. I'd rather have young drafted speedsters than guys like Ya-Sin and aging Ward.
People are saying they'd rather have Hurts than Lamar ?

Hurts has one of the best olines in the league, an all-pro RB who is a good receiving back, pro bowl caliber OTs, an all pro cailber WR, a pro bowl caliber WR, a very good TE, and plays in NFC east. The offense is catered to him as much as possible and he still has deer in the headlights when he is forced to make progression decisions.

I'm sorry, give me Lamar any time over Hurts. Lamar is easily the better passer and better QB. It's not really close either.

i have not seen anyone say that. you may be in line for a cheesesteak in philly if you are hearing those comments.
It Will be interesting to see how Daniels goes against Hurts this week.

You are right Philadelphia has one of the best teams and with Sequen Barkley running amuck, all they really need from Hurts is to make sure he doesn't turn the ball over.

I Can't wait for Kyle to learn nothing from this failure of a season and be called an "offensive genius" for it cause after all that is what great coaches do, become stagnant and stubborn.

Kyle doesn't load manage period! We could be up 21 late in the 4th and he'll call a CMC run up the middle.

Hopefully he's seen enough of Mason and Guerendo and how effective they've been to still get snaps, especially if we're in the clear.
I don't really look it as Daniels vs Hurts this game... but more so which coach will have their teams ready to play in those potential elements. Who will have the right game plan. Who will adjust series by series taking into consideration the changing elements. Will one be more aggressive while the weather is still manageable, and so forth. Who will put their QB in the best position to be successful, or to limit mistakes.

Yes, the coaches are hugely important but the execution by the quarterbacks of those plans is important especially in the cold.

Jayden Daniels has really shown himself to be super cool and composed under pressure which is incredibly impressive for a rookie.

Washington has been a laughing stock for twenty years but now, just by one correct draft pick, Washington will be incredibly competitive for the next 12 years at least.
