Yes, the coaches are hugely important but the execution by the quarterbacks of those plans is important especially in the cold.

Jayden Daniels has really shown himself to be super cool and composed under pressure which is incredibly impressive for a rookie.

Washington has been a laughing stock for twenty years but now, just by one correct draft pick, Washington will be incredibly competitive for the next 12 years at least.

let's not get ahead of ourselves. ppl said the same about robert griffin.

Griffin got injured badly, came back too early and got worse injured and could barely run.

Kyle Shannahan was in charge of Washington att and should have made sure his rookie "jewel" QB RG111 sat out and got 100% recovered.

Instead, Kyle rushed him back for the play off, RG111 reinjured himself and was never the same.

Just another example of Kyle's terrible coaching.

It took Washington 20 years to find another great QB prospect.

Daniels has all the physical tools and the brains. The future is extremely bright for Washington.

i wasn't making a shanny point with RG, and mike was in charge back then. my point was just you can't look 12 years ahead in nfl, that's way too much time. this league moves fast. i thought if you go back to 2012, that today Kaepernick would be winding down his 12 or so year run as one of our greats! we thought he was the truth, but he was fools gold.
True Kaepernick looked all world at one stage. The problem for both Kaepernick and RG111 was they were found out because they couldn't read defences. For every Kaepernick there is a Mahomes.
Kyle was not in charge in Washington. That would be Mike Shanahan, who won two SBs as HC, so according to this board he can never be questioned as he is a Winner.
Mike made a huge mistake playing RG111 and making his injury worse.

My biggest issue with Kyle and Lynch is that they never address our biggest issues.

4 Biggest weakness last season Oline, Defensive backs, Special teams and late game play calling.

4 Biggest weakness this season are exactly the same 4 things.

Reason Chiefs have won last few Superbowl's after Tampa Bay beat them due to Oline issues they rebuilt it to be a strength of their team. What have 49ers done to address any of their weaknesses absolutely nothing other taken a guard in 3rd round.

And he ended up All Rookie so it isn't like they can't pick OLinemen when they try.

what WAS team were you dreaming about? MIKE Shanahan, Kyle's father, was in charge of that Redskins team.

you haters really, really, really REACH when trying to pin stuff on Kyle. the dude is far from perfect, but you guys are so way off it's comedy.

How far off are we ? Probably a lot closer than you guys who shower that clown with praise like he's won 3 SBs. I've got 2 SB losses to defend my stance. What do you have to defend yours? 2 SB "appearances"? 😂
Mike was of the same cloth as Kyle so that gives you an example of where he has come from.

Special team has been bad but so has our red zone offence.

For someone who is meant to be a genius game caller in Kyle he is pretty bad at getting us touchdowns instead of Field Goals attempts in red zone this season.
Lets bring in Championship Caliber coaches like Ryan Day and Chip Kelly.

oh look the biggest reacher of them all... DrL(oser). show me showering Kyle with praise. this is what you do; you make up something (you reach) and then rail on it. you are one of the worst posters ive had to read thru in the almost 20 yrs ive been on this forum.
The offensive play calling is horrible. Absolutely no tempo, seem to call the opposite run/pass to what seems obvious, Purdy holding the ball way too long and there is zero creativity.

Can we delete the Deebo jet sweep? Is called at least once per game and never works other than causes injuries.

And can we stop wasting plays calling power runs whoever we require Brendal to block?

I think you meant for every 1000 Kaepernick's there's 1 Mahomes.

6 - 11, baby
This is gonna be another interesting offseason. Purdy's contract, potential cap casualties, and I'm curious to see what happens with our Kicker and coordinator spots. I'm not holding my breath on there being a lot of changes though.

We need to fix our lines on both sides, which honestly isn't a super realistic thing to be able to do in one offseason.

At least we have the best draft pick we've had since 2021 and a full offseason to let our guys recover. Hopefully Aiyuk and CMC come back 100%.

Bright sides our rookies this year looked pretty great. Puni, Pearsall, Mustapha and Green all showed up when it counted all season
