Got the top DC available. That's a master class of patience some don't understand how it works or what taking a risk is. Kyle's just got big massive balls he uses a wheelbarrow to transport them around.

100% worth the gamble on Saleh vs settling for a lesser DC that was "available" earlier

Not much to masterfully handle. Saleh told them if he didn't find a HC job he'd come back.

So far so good. We are adding sideline talent instead of losing it to other teams. That hasn't happened in a long while. We are also adding by subtracting with replacement of the STC. Not sure what value Staley provided so that's a neutral move. Keep the train rolling! Let's see how we do with free agency and the draft.

Terry Bradshaw just said Dan Quinn in Atlanta lost the Super Bowl when all they had to do was run the ball and kick a field goal. Instead, they called a pass, had a holding penalty, and had a sack on the next play, which took them out of field goal range, and subsequently lost. We all know who was calling those plays. And he still goes all air here too at crunch time. And goes total bone head giving the other team the first chance to win it in a SB. Like somebody just said lately, Brock can win a SB, but Kyle can't. He's got talent, but judgement isn't his best suit.

Yeah, well, he won four Super Bowls in six years. Who else has done that?

He's only got this year to do it imo.

Got to have both to get there in the first place. After that, it's up to the football gods who wins it.

Kyle has this gameplans where he sets up for these knockouts. It usually works. But when it doesn't, boy does it ever fail. This kind of goes back to the Oline thing. Because when you are up on a team 10+ and say you have 10 minutes or less to go, does he have a ball control offense that can just run and complete easy passes to keep that clock going. In most cases, yeah. But talent also takes over in those moments. Get better talent and he can do more dictating, which will allow him to keep it simple in those final moments.

I said this very thing when he had Garoppolo, who he didn't and I agree he couldn't trust. He trusts Brock. He trusted Matt Ryan. This is on Kyle.
