So you're also saying Dobbs is a better QB then Purdy? Dobbs has started 15 games during his NFL career. 17 td to 15 int. 62.7% completion rate. You can take any 15 game stretch in Brock's young career and he destroys those numbers. But Dobbs is dynamic bc he has a strong arm and can run. I guess that is more important to some then actually winning and moving an offense down the field.

dobbs i said is maybe the closest to a dual threat in this era of kyle football.

on the comments, i just don't think it's good negotiation to say oh he's the QB for as long as i am here. maybe say that after the deal is done, not before the negotiation starts.

The 1990s, when the San Francisco 49ers actually tried to win games on offence in the fourth quarter rather than putting up shop and just playing bland offense that causes too much pressure on the Défense.

With our schedule next year....NFC and AFC South plus 4th placed Giants, Bears and Browns as long as we don't cop a reaming on the balance of rest and do something with the oline then it comes down to winning your share of divisional games.

Rams/Seattle/Cards will get Detroit/Vikings/Packers, Pittsburgh/Ravens/Bengals, Eagles/Washington/Cowboys.

Big difference in quality of opponent finishing 3rd or 4th. Pays the 49ers to finish last in what will be a tight NFC West. Could be a 3 game swing just on those off-division games.

But But But, Kyle wasn't interviewing anyone else. It wasn't reported so it couldn't be happening.

This team. Get to redzone, lose a LT, illegal formation penalty, illegal formation penalty negating a big Deebo play. Then Purdy throws a ground ball to the FB 8 yards short of the line to gain. Miss FG.

In all that was the reason you can't pay Purdy top dollar...between scheme/playcalling, line and QB limitations when the offense gets into 3rd and long its a train wreck.

Chris Foerester (sp!)...offensive line coach needs more heat put on him. False starts, holding, missed assignments and most of all, loving Brendel.

Yeah not the most talented line but has them playing well below mediocre expectations.

This last year has been so frustrating simply because we have piled incompetence on top of bad luck.

And Kyle's overall smugness.

It would make anyone puke.

Shannahan's offense is easily stopped and shown out again and again with this 3 step plan..

1. Stop the run

2. Play man coverage

3. Blitz on 3rd and long.

They looked good against the Bears because the Bears played zone with an interim coach.

Anytime Shanahan goes against an elite DC he gets owned.

I mean truly and honestly OWNED.

But he will still be SMUG and blame someone else.
