Stop making excuses for Shanahan.

I know you guys are going to continue making excuses
what excuses.. it's proof you shouldn't fire a coach cause he lost

First of all, he needs a defense like Philly had. Fangio is an example of how good and experienced a coordinator you need to beat them. Shanahan decided on Sorensen last year. I'm not holding my breath on Gatorade being thrown on him anytime soon.
doesn't need to blitz..used only his 4 DL... wow lol

We just need to load up on DL

They used our formula, Jim Harbaugh taught us to build from front to back and we did that on the defensive side of the ball. At one point Kyle had Buckner, Armstead, Bosa, Ford, and DJ Jones. Then we started grabbing receivers and running backs, safety's, and tight ends. Spouting off stuff like we want to spend money on the guys who carry the ball across the goal line. To build a monster you build it from front to back, on both sides of the ball.

This has always been so obvious. To everyone but kyle.

Kyle had it, took him to his first Super Bowl as a head coach. Gotta get back on track!

Building strong up the middle is awesome. At one point we had Buckner and Armstead. That was an awesome and powerful team up the middle. Going back to a long gone prior era they had Stubblefield and Young. Strong up the middle is hugely important. Not picking yet another WR or RB. They need to get their draft and FA priorities straight.

In addition you build BOTH sides of the line. The Lions pick studs like Sewell and Hutchinson. On both sides of the lines. Sick of this team ignoring the trenches. We can't do it anymore. I would be happy with the first 4 picks as the best offensive line and defensive available. Plus FA emphasize that too.

it's not that easy.. there's some luck involved in it also. especially building a team up from scratch. but i think the new draft direction will help us

Like actually picking the TRENCHES. Instead of ignoring it year after year. For yet more WR's and RB's. Should be pretty obvious to everyone. But not to our head coach apparently.

picking trenches still need to pan out.. but the last 4 years OL hasn't stopped us from getting to 3 NFCCG and a SB.. and it was certainly not the reason we lost those games

Yeah it needs to pan out. You don't want to bust on them. But you can't completely ignore them like we do. You can't just keep picking more WR's and RB's like this dumb team does. The Eagles and Lions build the TRENCHES. Lions choked in the playoffs but had a lot of injuries. Plus a great record. It's obvious that building the TRENCHES works.

kyle lose 4/8 seasons. Still didn't win anything in 8 freaking years.

You guys can ride his jock if you want. But CLEARLY Sirianni is BETTER. It's not close IMO. A coach who doesn't get nervous or CHOKE. He can go toe to toe with Reid and doesn't get overwhelmed. Man I wish we had Head Coaching talent like that. Dude is awesome.

What's funny? He's been to as many SBs as Kyle but he actually managed to win the 2nd one.

What's the saying; you miss every shot you don't take?

He beat them last year when he didn't have Fangio, the same team we dropped 40 plus on. It was in the regular season, but he still beat them. Something that Kyle has yet to do as our HC.

no, you can miss on every shot taken also

But there are shots easier than others. QB/DL/OL are low % shots unless you are drafting high which we aren't in that position often
This sucks
