This could turn out to be the best offseason addition… god knows we need all the health we can get.
our best assets are probably the fact we have kyle, and also this division is weak. maybe dead last division in football. the wheels are starting to fall off for stafford. that makes the rams vulnerable. seattle and arizona look like also rans. we may be in the hunt for the division crown by default.

Can't be in the hunt for the division by default since they were in last place last season. They need to win their way back again

You never know. I admit I would've rather they gone in a brand new direction but for all I know it could've been optics only.

He wasn't the main guy before and could have some fresh/different takes that hopefully help us stay healthy.
No more 1st round say for Kyle Shany. Lynch only. Who isn't perfect. But he doesn't bust as much as Shany. Take all his personnel decision power away. We need to HIT in this draft big time and EARLY. No more early misses. No more busts. Get it right this time.

In the interview video, Kyle mentions that this was the guy Saleh wanted.

they always say that, but they also did basically spell him out a few days ago, so maybe it's true this time.

You remind me of those Adam Peters fanboys when they use to tell us that he made all of the good draft picks and Lynch/Kyle made all the bad ones.

Facts. Imagine if Lynch signed Kinlaw for 3 years/45 million and traded for Deebo. The hypocrisy is astounding from people who disliked both players, but think Adam Peters is the second coming of Ozzie Newsome.
I like that we got a lot better at defensive line. Interior and edge. Also added LB who is a playmaker to the front 7. Also added some speed at S which is needed. Some WR speed added and a RB for depth. Some good things.

But in no way can you honestly watch our offensive line play the last few years and think we don't need anything there. We literally waited until 7th - 33 - 249 overall to pick our one and only offensive linemen. He is big and versatile. But talk about putting offensive linemen on the ignore button. Wait until the second to last pick we have. We need a lot more of these guys. Early and often. LG is a big question mark. C is sub par. LT is getting older and may be gone to retirement soon. We have McKivitz who is not great but has improved. The one young STUD is Puni at RG. This is not a great offensive line though. It falls into shambles if TW is hurt and has in the past. Same if he retires after this year.

You are not a serious team if you put the offensive line on total ignore button until the 2nd to last pick. I think you need a new regime before they take offensive line seriously.

Well, we are consistent. Same draft strategy every year.
