Alabama made sure they kept Cochran, and I hope Lynch looks there first. Cochran and Allen would be my top choices. Alabama has done really well over the years keeping players healthy

Something that I heard a lot of from spending some time around Alabama staff past few days: Most underrated guy in the program is Jeff Allen, their long-time director of sports medicine/head trainer, for keeping things running so smoothly esp. for such a physical team.

The 49ers VP of Medical Services/Head Athletic Trainer has been with the team for 13 years. HE was also the VP of Football Operations from 2013-2016, ugh.

I don't know if you can do that type of firing midseason. And they couldn't do it after just 1 year. This was right on time.

I think he showed a few positive signs both last year and this one. I think he will start the season on the hotseat next year though.
