Don't we get two third round picks (upcoming draft and next one) if we develop a minority HC for another team? Thought I read that somewhere

Salah has done okay this year, all things considered.
More than okay. Saleh has been fantastic.
Kris Richard is a guy who will be heavily coveted this offseason. The only problem is this guy is destined to be a head coach very soon.
Richard opted out of 2020 after failing to secure a HC or DC job. Apparently he only had DB coaching opportunities presented.
Will be interesting to see if he gets a HC or DC job this year. Certainly worth a look see for us if Saleh does leave.
He has been. His most impressive year by far given the circumstances.
I was talking about Saleh. My original comment came off as tepid praise.
Also at this point Saleh > Bradley and Quinn.
It's looking like Pete Carroll is more Jimmy Johnson or Bill Belichek than Bill Walsh. Meaning he is clearly the brains behind the operation and no one under him is having any real success as they head man. Even Quinn's success was really about Kyle Shanahan. That team never looked as good before or since Kyle was calling the plays.

Damn, Saleh was smashing his girl. McVay's girl is a hottie.
The funny thing is I believe in both games the Rams came in on a bit of a roll, only to get smacked by a down in the dumps 49ers team. A badly beaten up one at that. What's going to happen when we are healthy?

Saleh has really impressed.
Hate to see him leave.
Dan Quinn would get my vote for DC.

No thanks on Quinn.
If available you can write Raheem Morris In pen as the next DC....Shanny and Morris have been bros since the Tampa days. He wanted him back in 2017.
Also crazy SF would get 2 3rd rd picks if Saleh becomes a HC

Good sign. We can continue to develop Moore and bring back Cyprien to back up Ward at SS with Harris.
#49ers' Jimmie Ward finished with a 94.7 PFF grade. Highest on SF's defense and likely the highest-graded game of his career:
— Akash Anavarathan (@akashanav) November 30, 2020
- 4 tackles, 3 run stops, 2 forced fumbles, 1 PBU
- 3 catches on 8 atts, 16 yards
Saleh allowing Ward to play in the box more played to his strengths.

Saleh would be a minority hire and the NFL is trying to bolster it's minority coaching development. The third round picks wouldn't be in the same draft but over the next two. It would fall in with a set of changes that the league put into place this year.

I concur. Morris and Kyle go way back. I think he'd be the most likely replacement as well, however if the Falcons keep playing well under him I doubt Atlanta let's him leave. He likely gets the nod to head coach.
