Daboll is the problem. he's a joke. can't believe he won COY over Shanny. the year they did well, it was all Wink Martindale and Saquon. Daboll seemingly kicked both to the curb. called his own plays, to the tune of 6 pts, and he's had years to get his guys. he's way in over his head.

That was part of it, but Daboll is just a trash person...that public animated feud on the sidelines last year or the year before was just terrible...dude is a man child.

I am from NYC, whole family is still up there....they can not stand the dude.

For what it is worth, Daniel Jones needed the Steve Young treatment...he needed a good contract that says we value you, and your time will come...but that is....not...today. He needed controlled development, not game after game of chaos and blindside hits that set in his gun shy scrambling ways.

They got the worst of both worlds...a dude that is not a developer passer, and bails even when the protection holds up cause he is broken.

Gotta love Saleh, after that game he comes out and calls Warner a first ballot HOF. he still loves his guys. I hope he wins a lot of games the rest of the season

What's interesting is I wasn't even thinking about that, but yeah, Warner is in that talk. Two more seasons of elite play and it's a no-brainer- it will give him 7 seasons of elite play. He's already at 5 which is good enough, but considering they made Patrick wait, Fred getting a couple more will solidify it. Warner also has had extended time in the spotlight with all of the deep playoff runs we've had.

I remember in the 2018 draft being upset we missed out on Roquan Smith and even thought we should've moved up to ensure we got him. Smith is a helluva player and would've made a great pick. But Warner is not only a better player, but he's also far better value (3rd round).
