He's young and charismatic enough that he'll eventually get another HC look if he knocks it out of the park as a DC again but it probably won't be for awhile.

lol zero chance he was ever gonna succeed with the Jets, outside of money just a stupid decision all around. Should've stayed with the 49ere longer, maybe the defense wouldn't be as bad as it is now.

wouldnt be shocked if Mike McDaniel gets axed by seasons end too

Nah Ryans was great, an upgrade on Saleh even. Not having a well defined in house replacement for him was the mistake.

Just like Wade Phillips, Spagnuolo, Gym Shorts and Fangio, some guys are just better suited to be a coordinator.

Saleh is a good vibes/hype man players type coach which is a lot easier to pull off as a coordinator.

Aaron on the last year of his contract runs the team. Hoping he says something at the press conference. Teams usually don't knee jerk and fire a 2-3 coach, especially after losing a close game against the top team in the league.

He is no longer under contract with the Jets so we could certainly bring him in. Kyle too stubborn though and will probably say "We are good"
