Honestly I thought saleh was a quality head coach. The Rodgers thing was a debacle but he had a really good squad outside of that. Zach Wilson and Rodgers killed him.

itll be great for Kyle to have such a good DC who can assist with HC stuff for the team and all that. Last time they were together, they were both so young in their roles. Now they're both experienced

Aside from his proven track record, the dude must have a chip on his shoulder. Hopefully that transfers into the Defense and turns them aggressive

Saleh is exactly what the Niners needed. He provides passion and excitement which is something the Niners have been lacking of late. He is the complete opposite of Kyle who is cold, calculating and snarky in many ways and it's a welcome change! Very excited!

Honestly this also benefits the offense/Shanahan. I'm sure Kyle had to get stretched ultra thin dealing with an absolute idiot dc
