Is that even possible. What would it take

Robert was the one that helped select Fred and Greenlaw IIRC... glad he's here early before the draft to find us more top tier LBs.

IIRC, and correct me if I'm mistaken … wasn't there talk leading up to the 2019 NFL Draft, that Saleh favoured Quinnen Williams over Nick Bosa at #2 overall.

It is not possible, sadly. We would have to trade for him and inevitably we'd have to pay him a boatload of money.

He's one and done. Didn't even want to be here. Would have been great to find some young passionate coach who would be here for a while.

Would we get another 2 3rds?

He has to be here for two years, before we could get any comp picks for him leaving.
Out of the players that will be a free agent I predict he brings Ashtyn Davis with him. Would be a quality backup safety and will be cheap. Knows the system and local

Cry more.
So happy this is finally over. Definitely got the top option out there.
Now equally important is revamping our entire interior dline
Any contract details out there?

If Greenlaw isn't re-signed I'm predicting LB Jamien Sherwood and DJ Reed.

DJ Reed makes too much sense if they don't retain Ward

Only thing that makes me worried about Reed is that he had 12 penalties last season, but I also think he was the 15th ranked CB.

I wouldn't worry too much I think. That team as a whole somewhat collapsed and it was one of those seasons.....similar to what SF went through. He's still a quality player.

With any luck he stays a couple of seasons. I think having a new DC every year has certainly hurt this group. Saleh bring stability and familiarity as well as expectation which should hopefully show immediate dividends.
