It can be both. Dre just had a nice rise. The Saleh era version of Dre was pretty good. A starter, which you don't expect out of a 5th round pick. Under DeMeco, he continued to ascend. But 2023 was his next level year, where he was a couple votes away from being 2nd team All- Pro. A+ player who we must sign.

Wouldn't Reed command a significant salary? If we can do it, but all means go for it, but only after we sign Dre. Not turning my nose up at Reed, but I'd actually prefer if we got a bit younger. I wonder if Reed would take less money to have a legit shot at winning a Super Bowl? Even with that, there are other teams that could offer the same (Texans, Washington, etc).

This whole draft should be focused on the Offensive and Defensive line. I will puke if they try to draft another kicker.
