This probably has already been mentioned…perhaps a quality FA from a team other than the Jets will want to come play for a D run by Saleh. Especially guys that played under him before (looking at you D.J. Jones).

I don't know Uncle Sherm wants to coach, especially a DB coach position. He is probably more interested in continuing his media career.

Hopefully, Saleh gets the defense to be more aggressive. I want to see more blitzing this year.

Hopefully, but we have a couple of guys to try to keep. It's going to be a tight FA this year. It may have been the right time to come in 11 in the draft. We have to have a home run draft this year as FA going to be touch and go.

I have always been in favor of him as DC here. Problems and all. He's a defensive football genius.

As I said a day or two ago we as fans are going to have to be patient with him unlike we were with Sorenson and Wilks. It's going to take some time to fix this mess and get the talent needed. I fully expect the defense to struggle at least for the first half of the season.

Need to shore up the run defense. This defense is at its best when they force the offense to become one dimensional and let Bosa pin his ears back.

I hope Saleh adds some new wrinkles to the defense assuming he keeps the wide 9. Whatever style they choose they need to show some different looks. Their defense was way to easy to attack last year.

I wonder what DJ would command. If they do that, then we are looking at drafting a 3T then going after two projects late in the draft to develop.
