If you get the right one, absolutely. Remember during Bosa's rookie year when Kittle was on the sideline, telling Shanahan that he drafted a cheat code?

I hope he learned about half time adjustments and how to not play prevent the last 4 minutes. I am excised to have him back after what we had the last 2 seasons

Any position on defense can contribute year one, not just DE/DT
Remember Ronnie Lott and Eric Wright and Dwight Hicks = Superbowl winners in their rookie years
2023 Chiefs had several defensive rookies starting and won the superbowl
49ers need to stock up on defense in the draft

I think you need to also give some credit to Andy Reid and the WASP playcall on 3rd & long.

Let's hope we do. Solomon Thomas sucked, I believe in part because the niners played him out of position. Then kinlaw was terrible
