We can win with him.

Well duh...
He led the defense to a #2 Total Defense ranking. Not only can we win with him but his defense can carey this team like it did against Minnesota on Saturday, against Seattle in week 17 and against the Packers when we played them in Green Bay this year.

I prefer the game he called when GB played here.

Damn I made a few mistakes, but at least I never said that Phillips was the better DC.

Haha. I gotcha covered, man. Saleh is going to end Rodgers career next Sunday.

Fire this guy now. I thought there was another GM Saleh coveted.

Create a custom 49ers jersey

Oscar is guessing on that take. Reports were it was Ed Dodds that was the top GM candidate connected to Saleh.

Let's hope so...saw your tweet.

FWIW

Frankly, I'm glad he didn't get hired.

Keep building the continuity one more season.

Also - hope other teams don't poach our coaches.

One of the reasons Siefert was never hired off bill Walsh's staff was because we were always in the playoffs when the hiring windows opened and closed this time of the year. So to keep Saleh, just be in the playoffs this time every year, and he wont be leaving us.

Yes. Hard to wait for the coach if the team is making it to the Superbowl, though I am glad 3 year ago, this team was willing to wait for Kyle.
Gotta give him props. More man and less soft zone versus the Vikings

There seemed to be a deliberate effort to take away MIN's screen game. Every time they tried to set up Cook for a screen, the 49ers were ready to take it away. No "easy" stuff on Saturday for MIN's passing game.

Definitely mixed in more man coverage than what I typically see from the 49ers (in the first 3Q). On the Sherman INT, MIN dialed up a bunch of curl routes - zone beaters. 49ers were in man coverage so those routes aren't as effective. Cousins forced it.
