This move is being completely ignored by the press outside of Santa Clara and is HUGE for the 49ers. Mitchell wore down towards the ends of seasons and became less effective. He's going to be rested healthy and a vet. At the very least as an average DT in the middle, he'll be able to do some good things and allow others around him to play well.

That's a great snap count for guys like Buck and Bosa playing 75% of the snaps! They should be crazy fresh for next week.
