Man I can rally see him going to the Jets. Especially as they have more money to throw at him. We got him with all the good feels to stay but I know he also lives in Long Island too.
I would argue after Trent Williams he is almost as high a priority. I'd lock him up for another 5 years if possible

Yes, after T. Williams, he is right up there as a priority IMO. All that he offers this team that could easily go unnoticed. He seems to really like it here, too, and fits right in with the culture this team has been building. Keep Juice aboard.

For seven million dollars a year, I wish he had Rathmans 4.4 yard average on the ground.

... how can " THE BEST FB IN THE GAME " put up those numbers when " THE BEST MIND IN FOOTBALL" doesn't know how to use him?
Replace Juice with Kyle Pitts.

Might be time to go there. If we get Kyle Pitts then someone else on O walks in FA. Hopefully they find a way to fill McGlinchy's spot on the cheap and can keep all our eligibles.

Rathman would've been used the same way in this era. There's no FB anymore that can be productive running. It's not a running league anymore, and defensive players have gotten too fast. If a guy is 220 lbs and really athletic, he's not playing FB.

Back then FB used to be as valuable, if not more, than a HB.

Juice is a good athlete, but not good enough to carry the ball and make plays.

This. I would be curious how a shorter TE would fit in that role. There are always TEs coming out who drop in the draft for things like being too short or not fast enough. A player like that who is a willing blocker could add more versatility out of the backfield. It's away to save several million while evolving the FB position.
The dude doesn't have to have any kind of good yard average but he should be good for a yard and a half on every 3rd and 4th and one.

It should be like 90% of the time he can grind you that yard. Otherwise he's a glorified tight end.
