Yes, after T. Williams, he is right up there as a priority IMO. All that he offers this team that could easily go unnoticed. He seems to really like it here, too, and fits right in with the culture this team has been building. Keep Juice aboard.
For seven million dollars a year, I wish he had Rathmans 4.4 yard average on the ground.
... how can " THE BEST FB IN THE GAME " put up those numbers when " THE BEST MIND IN FOOTBALL" doesn't know how to use him?
Moonster - I think Kyle never needed really develop the FB position until he faced some top coaches in the super bowl. In other words, with his scheme genius alone, he got to where he got. But once he got to the big game, those imperfections in his schemes show up.
I'd be looking for a power running back in the 2021 draft/free agency (If I was Kyle) that I could place in the H-Back/OW position that Juszczyk's occupies. Someone that can get 3 yards against an 8 man front, as well as able to block and catch. In other words, a first, second, or third round talent level RB/FB that would be able to power Kyle's four minute offense to close out championship games if he's ahead in the 4th QTR.
So your idea is to reach for a RB, then teach him how to play FB? Interesting, but i highly doubt this is our approach.
You need to understand, just like the rest of the NFL does, its a dead position when it comes to the FB being a play maker.
It used to be a very valuable position in past eras when the NFL was a running league. Great athletes would play FB in high school and college. No great athlete is playing FB in high school and college anymore.
You literally would have to create such a player. Draft a high SPARQ athlete, put them on the practice squad for a year or 2 and develop them. I think you could get a player that does what Juice does and be an effective runner in a 4 minute offense, but that player would take time to develop.

Sexy just give him 5 mil per year and call it a day
Waste of money paying a FB that kind of money. Dude touches the ball like 2 times a game.

He gets way more respect than both Verrett and K'Waun for me. Juice is crazy reliable and probably out of all the skill players injured the least up there with Bourne and critical to both running game (blocking) and passing game. I let the only-one-good-year-in-5 Verrett walk before Juice.
And Hyderz to me. The edge FA market is flush this year so I don't see any reason to overvalue edge before FA. There's going to be a lot of productive and talented edge guys with not a whole lot of real bidding against this year's cap. I'm sure Hyder wants to see his value be higher in FA but it's not gonna be as high as he thinks it will, IMO.

Agreed. Love Verrett, but because if his history we need 3 starting caliber outside corners. But I also stated I think Juice is most likely to leave. Hope we resign him AND begin grooming a replacement.

He has to have agreed on a deal to return. You wouldn't say that if it wasn't a done deal. He is going to be back with the niners. NICE!

I want to say he wasn't hacked, cause he's done things kinda like this on Twitter, tweeting to 49ers fans, goofing around, but it is the time where a*****es will be a*****es, we got hackers, fake wannabe news reporters like Sterling Bennett, or how Schefter got duped on live TV about Olivier Vernon to Jags, when he signed with the Giants, or the guy who said Allen Robinson to 49ers on 3yr deal.

Yeah, I don't think he was hacked. He is just excited he got the deal done with Juice. If you hacked someone's account you would say something more exciting than some hint of a full-back signing lol.
