Follow that up with a cornerback and an edge rusher. Preferably one of the top 10 edges available as well as that nifty corner from the chargers mr Hayward

IMO he's the best corner available in a while. From 2017 to 2019 I believe he was in the top five corners every single year. He only missed three games last year. What do you think of him?

I just think he was actually thirsty. Juice will sign with the Jets.

You know all this talk about building a championship team, and then the greediness comes through. I wish all our players were married to supermodels so they can take discounts

Niners need to agree to a market value contract here.
Juice is a 30 year old FB, playing a position that takes a lot of punishment. They significantly overpaid for him in 2017, but did that with several players to improve the talent.
3 years, $9MM would be the max Id go. I mean, what's the market for a position teams rarely use? Who are they actually bidding against?
Craft something fair based on team value, market value and age or just roll with Josh Hokit, a rookie or another FA and put that money elsewhere.

Hope it's for less than last time, he should give us a discount after all that cash we gave him.

Exactly. I hope your employer tells you the same thing.

This is kind of my thoughts too.
I can't imagine there being that strong of a market for him with him playing a position that is hardly used by any other teams. He's really a perfect fit for us and how we use him so he's quite a bit more valuable to us then he would be for someone else. And also like you said about age. He's going to be 30 yrs old in April at a position that takes a beating. I'm not sure how many good years he really has left. I'm hoping we only sign him to a 2-3 yr deal.

Juice will get at least 5 million a year. He will have a market if the Niners don't sign him. The Bills, Jets, Chiefs would all more than likely bid on him for obvious reasons. Juice will come back, retire a Niner, and one day be in the ring of Honor. He will finish with at least with at least 8-9x pro bowler. Expect a 3-4 year deal averaging 5-5.5 million. Shanahan loves him and so does Lynch.

Imagine trying to defend the simpleton position that Juice is "just a FB". Some fans must have not watched Niners football the last four years.
