Juice will get at least 5 million a year. He will have a market if the Niners don't sign him. The Bills, Jets, Chiefs would all more than likely bid on him for obvious reasons. Juice will come back, retire a Niner, and one day be in the ring of Honor. He will finish with at least with at least 8-9x pro bowler. Expect a 3-4 year deal averaging 5-5.5 million. Shanahan loves him and so does Lynch.

Chiefs and Bills do not have much for cap room I believe to be able to offer him anything decent. There just aren't many teams with cap space to spend and that use a FB.

He is such an important weapon for us. He blocks like a stud, runs like a stud, and catches like a stud, and puts guys in a bodybag like a goddamn stud. Get him back!!

This.

People think he can easily be replaced by a cheaper player, but we all know that's not true.

+2. Couldn't agree more.

$5 Mil a year for what he does is pretty damn cheap.

Sick!!
If we resign a fullback for 5/year and let our left tackle walk I'm going to lose my god damned mind.

I'm hoping the jets come in and give juice a massive offer. I love the guy, but he doesn't impact the game enough to justify the money. We'd be better off trying to find a legit second tight ends.
I hear yall on the 5 million a year but let's wait until we see the deal b4 complaining about it. Might be cheaper.

They are not related in any way.

They absolutely are if the reasons for letting him walk are the cap and the size of his contract. Overpaying a fullback absolutely has an effect on what you are able to do for the rest of your roster.

Maybe they know Trent will be too expensive and are signing who they know they can keep at this time?

What? A $5m RB has ZERO impact on a franchise LT. Stop making up fan fiction.

Here's what isn't happening:

"gee it looks like we can only fit either Trent or Juice. Sure their contracts, positions and impact are not comparable. But let's go with Juice."
Check Juices' Insta...I think the deal is done

To his point.... it makes zero sense for lynch to keep jimmy or any qb and let a pro bowl left tackle walk

I'm not sure how you guys are tying these together.

1) it takes two to tango, and
2) yes it does
