He doesn't play like his age tbh. I hope he's stays because it's not like they can just replace him either.
Would harbaugh take him?

It's not just about running the ball…it's dictating what defenses have to run. Juice is out there it keeps them in base D more. That's what makes him unique. He can run routes and lineup in the slot. He can be a legit extra blocker. He can run the ball.
they should have been trying to find the next Juice. If they do go more 11 personnel, they need a better OL and more WRs.
I think that was their idea with Woerner and Willis over the last few years but Juice just kept in shape. If Juice is gone I expect Woerner to come back and maybe do some of the things Juice. Nobody will be able to all of he does unless you draft Bell from Florida St

At that point I'd rather just run more 11 personnel and beef up the OL/depth at WR.

We don't use him tho, he makes a good catch every 3-4 games or so but that's about it

He's a chess piece that forces teams to have to stay in base packages. It's not about just how many times he touches the ball, it's how we run our offense.
if I'm reading stuff right they have like $5.4M worth or wiggle room with him as at a a pay cut goes.

He needs to take a pay cut or be released. The returns just aren't worth it.

I agree that he should be used more. I remember Rathman being a weapon with short passes over the middle.

He blocks. Opens up run game. CMC help.

$6 million is a lot for a player that just blocks and occasionally catches a pass. They can save $4.9 million this season and $6.2 next year. If they just want a blocker, put one of the TEs or O linemen back there.

Yeah I get that; but you brought up needing pass blocking olinemen

Where did Jack Colletto wind up?
Thought he might be a guy who could have replaced Juice.

He is.
He signed a futures/reserved contract with them back in January.
