1st Team All Pro - OW, Kyle "Juice" Juszczyk

Juice must be more valuable in Kyle's offense than what we fans see. I know he's good at pickig up the pass rush which they need considering the weakness of the O line. I'd like to see him used a little more in short yardage situations. Maybe even some more short passes.
Grant Cohn being pissed about this re-signing is the best part.

Not true, Kyle operates on relationships not necessarily value to his offense.

Solomon Thomas was not as valuable to Kyle's offense more than Mahomes when we needed a QB. However there was a relationship between ST and someone in the building and the relationship won.

I also value Juice's relationship with the guys, but I won't act like fans don't know what's going on. I am a fan myself, no PR department from my end.

This is so wrong. 1st player they signed in 2017, before relationships

Fans think they know but none of us can know what the coaches and people inside know. We make guesses and wild conjecture but there are things that go on inside that outsiders don't know. Fans are always saying this guy sucks or shoud be cut. They wonder why the guy is on the team. What we don't see are the practices. Wer don't see how they fit in the locker room. Are they helping younger players? Are they disruptive? Those things matter.

Actual results on the field do matter and is for all to see. Justifying Juices re-signing based on smoke and mirrors is weak.

Are you saying that juice underperformed or the position isn't justified?

They asked him to take a paycut last year and now they asked him the same again and when he didn't want to do it he was released and he plays less than 50% of the snaps..........but homers try to convince themselves that Juice is essential for Kyle's system.

This has nothing to do with his contributions to the system. Juice is back because roster politics are more important than anything else.

Cabo click forever.

Shanahan keeps making all the decisions and he is way too emotional with the players he likes on a personal level. Bringing back a 33-yrd old FB that plays less than 50% of the snaps, touches the ball once every 2 games and isn't an effective blocker anymore for 4M per year is the most egregious decision he has made since he ignored Mahomes when he didn't have a single QB on the roster.

I guess this is all about making Kittle and his wife happy. f**k Warner and his friendship with Greenlaw because if you're not part of the Cabo click you can kick rocks.

The truth that half the fan base doesn't want to acknowledge.

Good question.

My answer is that the position has diminished in importance, and the price/value needs reassessment. The team set a value on the position going forward and gave Juszcsyk a chance to shop himself to get a perspective on his value in other places. We don't know how much money Pittsburgh offered him, but we should assume they were legitimately interested. So, whatever they offered, Juice chose to take the 49ers offer and return for whatever the role now comprises.

Guess what?

Relationships are important to every team, not just the 49ers. All other things being equal, the quality of the relationships and the value to the team are considered in every signing. We have heard it said, "It is a business deal," but it is never JUST that.

I was ready to move on, still am, from Juice because I wanted to see less 21 personal and more 11 personal, similar to LeFleur & McVay, who use only around 10% of the time. Kyle, obviously, likes using it. A Ingold, Dolphins, is used about 35% of the snaps at just under $4M/yr. P Ricard, Ravens, is used about 40% of the snaps at just under $3M/yr. Juice is more talented than both those guys, so I don't have a problem with his contract. I was just hoping for a bit more 11 personal.

This is the kind of observation one finds when scrolling through utube for vaccination "facts". LOL
