He's gotten plenty of chances. Can't run routes, can't block, he looks like a wasted pick.

Bingo!

Really???

you all saw him lined up at FB and got the chance to play at the position??

I still don't like the fact that we over paid the guy... he's good.. yes. but he's not worth that much..

I think BellDozer can do the same thing if we put him at FB and allow him to develope..

Juice can do it now. And there is no question about him "developing " I don't think we over paid for a key piece of Kyle's offense. What has Bell done in the NFL?

Has he gotten a chance?

Everytime he practices. Get a grip. He probably won't even make the team let alone compete for a spot like we will use Juice for.

No, because he hasn't looked good enough to warrant that. He hasn't looked that good at what he was brought here to do. If you aren't a reliable blocker, or receiver at tight end does that mean we should assume you would excel at FB? Lol!
In the Trent Brown thread, NC just gave me an idea for Jusczyk's name on the back of his uniform:

"Au Jus."

Then on the back of Trent's uniform, NC recommended "Pancake"

Perfect.

We're going to eat up the competition!

Three games in and I don't think I've seen Juice used on 3rd down. He was the primary 3rd down back in BAL (in 3WR sets) and that's where he got a bunch of his receptions. Coming into preseason, I thought he might be the 3rd down back based off his usage in BAL and his pass blocking. Not the case so far. Kyle will use a lot of 2 back sets, but Juice not being a 3rd down back will cut into his snap count. If Hyde can catch and run like how he did on the TD, then so be it. Maybe BAL didn't have a better option than Juice so that's why he was the 3rd down back.

I think you nailed it T-Bo.

I don't think so. I think jusczyk was not used because kyle didn't want to show all his cards prior to panthers game. I think he gets used bigtime once we play for real. Thl may very well be correct, but i favor choice # 2. We'll find out shortly.

Juszcyzk is the best fullback in football. Bell doesnt even qualify as a mediocre TE. In terms of catching, running routes, pass and run blocking there is zero comparison.
Can this "ow" end?

I know Kyle used that term and NC seems to like it. The guy is listed as a fullback. Thats his roster spot. Can we just refer to him as what he is?

He will probably only get an average of 2 touches a game in the long run. H-back probably best way to describe him.
Juice !

LOL. Yeah it's a bit silly but he really will be an OW as you've already seen in pre season games...lead blocking, TE and lining up outside as a WR. About the only thing he hasn't done is carry the ball in short yardage but we know he can do that too.

... uhmmmm, we once drafted a QB from Penn State and turned him into a FB, but didn't give him enough time to develop and the guy ended up winning a ring w/Seattle...

When I say give a guy a chance, I didn't mean to line him up on a short period, I mean, why not give him the whole year to learn and develop.. if we didn't see him (Bell) as a pass catching TE, we must have drafted him as good blocker.. NO?

I think Michael Robinson would have made an awesome LB or SS. Dude hurt people.
