For every positive moves made by Lynch & Shanny, there will be few that would make you wanna scratch your head.

You see, when you give a guy the amount of money Juicy Fruity got, he's gotta be one of them players you'd design plays or be a big part of your game plan.. What has Juicy Fruit done this season that our last FB wasn't able to do??

Well, aside from, hurtin his woman.

this is turning out to be a bust FA pickup. dude is a great lead blocker but 2 fumbles in the 2 games and minimal impact in the passing game doesnt justify the money he is getting. He has to show more and hold on to the damn f*cking ball!!!!!!

ok.. this is not some thing cc conjured up in his head... when this guy was signed... lynch and kyle did multiple interviews saying how they would use this guy.. the term swiss army knife was used by both of them,,,,,, then when we plays games. they act like they have no clue how to use him and when he does play you can not justify his high salary by his quality and quantity of work.. it is a bust of a signing. that is not a dirty word. it does not mean i want kyle fired cuz i think he messed up this signing. i would be shocked if the team did not very quietly cut ties with him

He runs, He catches, he blocks

What more did you want from a RB; what kind of Swiss army knife were you expecting. Kicking and punting ?

fine. some people will justify any and all things with this regime and have no time for anyone who dares to question any move

Completely worthless. TERRIBLE FA pickup by Lynch.

He made a couple nice plays that kept a 4th qtr drive going which gave the team a 3-score lead, not to mention some good lead-blocks. Your comment is stupid.

LOL

haha i know you love your juice. Dont get me wrong, he is a great FB. i use the bust label in terms of what we paid for him and expected out of him. Same goes for a 1st round pick who you are expecting to be elite and they turn out to be just...good.

Yeah, he can run, catch, and all that but he isnt the only FB that can do all those things...granted alot of them cant. Its just that after shelling out all that money, i would expect him to provide more of a difference making element and not fumble the ball

I should look back to the beginning of this thread to see if someone set up realistic expectations.

I try not to get too caught up in contracts commensurate production because the market sets the contract and in Juice's case, he had a lot of bidders that kept driving up the price. If we wanted him, we had to "overpay"

I think when Lynch called him an "offensive weapon", that unfairly set expectations. He's still a FB and FBs aren't going to be a featured component of an offensive gameplan. He might have an explosive play here and there, which makes him a unique FB, but he will most likely never live up to his contract. Especially since he's not being used as a 3rd down back, which is when he got a lot of his production stats (catches) as a Raven.

I wouldn't say he's a bust because that falls more on players like Armstead and Hoyer.

Juicy Fruity is a good player who got overpaid and has nothing to show for.. we are just not using him enough... once the season is done, and review each players, everyone will agree that he's getting too much money just to be that LEAD back who can catch, and break tackles... the problem is, he aint breaking any tackles or running people over because he aint gettin the ball..

so, to make a long story short, we could have picked up any other FB in the draft, and do what he's been doing.. w/lesser salary.
